How can it be that I have lived in Ottawa since 1989 and only this past Thursday stopped here for breakfast? This place is a gem if you're into delicious breakfast foods. Simple but bright and open dining room with a combo of booths and tables. We had no issue getting a seat along with a very friendly greeting when we arrived. The menu is excellent with all of the usual favourites. The portions are generous, you're not leaving this place hungry. My friend had pancakes and I had the Canadian omelette. Delish! Recommended!

Family run affability rules in this fine breakfast haunt in Vanier. Their attention to friendly service and value priced nutrious meals not to mention stellar plating and presentation saves the day in this age of dining out food recession. About the only negative experience, I've encountered was not quite getting the breakfast potatoes/ home fries fully cooked to my liking so I switched to French fries and all was right in the breakfast world again. :)
