As some of you may know, this restaurant is giving a15-20$ coupon per customer, which is great until you try to redeem it!ESSAY ALERT!My friends/family and I decided to go to BATON ROUGE for a nice dinner as we had a good experience last time. But GIRL!!! (And guys who will be reading this lol)… don’t get me started.First, let’s start with a shoutout! Shoutout to our server who was very nice throughout the whole night. I give you A++ for your service! She was very kind, calm and apologetic.UNLIKE the manager... I think he was not having a good day or something, but he was not happy that we were trying to use the coupon that the restaurant was giving. It was a struggle to redeem those coupons. He came to our table like we were the cows ready to be fillet! Not kidding! I was probably be cooked medium rare…Okay… I got sidetracked lol.The point is WHO would deal and wait for 1.5HRS to PAY for the BILL? I mean, we did ? because we wanted to use the coupon THAT THE RESTAURANT WAS OFFERING! But I suggest you save yourself the hassle, money and valuable time elsewhere. MAYBE try the Japanese Grill house because their beef is A++ and you don’t have to wait to redeem your coupon. But you do you!I just want to conclude my little vent with PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Don’t send me any more offer/coupons! ?This is my last time at this restaurant. I might end up paying a $50 bill that I can’t afford at this moment lol #LifeStruggleTo the server, you were great! Keep it up and you are doing awesome.

Baton Rouge was my weekly go to restaurant. Their location at the Eaton center and on yonge street were my favorite. It’s been a while so I thought I’d give them another try and well…. Subpar at best. I had to call the restaurant for them to enable orders as they forgot. Once arrived the portion of the ribs was not what was ordered. The salad was a dismal portion lacking flavor and the rest looked like a lunch hall meal. So sad that this is what they want representing them. Will sadly not return if this is there new direction.

Amazing restaurant! The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. The staff were great and quickly brought us anything we needed. Food was excellent. My girlfriend and I ordered the ribs and the top sirloin steak. The ribs were flavourful with a ton of flavour. The steaks are also delicious and tender. Portion sizes are very appreciable as well. Overall, an excellent restaurant, would highly recommend!

We had the Surf & Turf. Lobster tail was done to perfection, so good! The strip loin was heavenly, also done to absolute perfection. Caesar salad was devine, fresh & crisp! Had the Pretzel dessert. OMG! Who'd a thought the dipping sauce could leave my taste buds wanting more?

The dining area table arrangements are not the greatest. Tight seating for tables of two. Not sure whose idea it is to leave DIRTY BUCKET OF WATER along the railway near the tables of 2. Not smart at all and definitely a safety concern. There's cleaning supplies left along the railway next to the table of 2 in the dining area. Most definitely a health-code infraction... I asked for a better table and was moved to the lounge area. The rice was cold. The steak was alright. Of course not the best steakhouse. I won’t be returning nor recommending. Service is 5 stars because the waitress go above and beyond to make the situation better. BUT the management who decides how many tables get CROWDED into one spot isn't thinking straight and ALLOWING your staff to leave cleaning supplies IN the dining area close to tables is not professional AT ALL. Yes you want to accommodate guests and have them all seated BUT NOT at the expense of comfort, you cannot sacrifice comfort, safety, health standards just so you can bring in more guests inside the restaurant for service.... which brings you MORE MONEY.... yeah I hope you shut down and sell to owner(s) who will IMPROVE based off all the google reviews written by those who PAID the bill in FULL. Ridiculous. Not In Compliance. Not recommended.

I booked this restaurant for my parents on Valentines Day. What an awful experience it was for them, they added too many tables to the restaurant and they were so crammed in between people. Bad call on their part as it shows that all they care about is money rather than customer experience.There was 1h30min seating limit which was fine. However, their reservation was for 7pm, they got there on time but they weren’t seated until 7:30. The food took nearly 1h to come. Since it was out of their control they assumed it wouldn’t be a problem, however after the 1h30min mark passed they bombarded my parents 3 times saying they were over the seating limit. They explained all 3 times that they had just received their food. If you want people to keep within the 1h30min limit then they should be seating them on time and bringing their food on time. All 3 times they were approached while trying to enjoy their valentines day dinner they staff accused them of being their for 3 hours, and my parents explained to them every single time that wasn’t true, and on the 3rd time they were approached they had finally admitted there was a misunderstanding and apologized.Such an awful experience this was, don’t recommend going here at all.

Valentines could have become a nightmare. My original booking was at 6pm but last Monday I received a call asking if I was okay with bumping my reservation to 7:30pm which I agreed to so that I wouldn't be rushed.On the day of, I decided to call the restaurant around 4pm to confirm that it was still for 7:30pm. They had no knowledge of the change and my reservation was still for 6.When we got there and were seated, we had to wait 20-25 mins before someone came to our table. About another half hour for the food to arrive which is understandable considering it was a busy night. It was also cold since we were seated in the bar area near the front entrance.The couple to the right of us was also experiencing the same non-existent service.Then they gave me the wrong order as it was meant to be for the table to the left. Management had to come out and apologize to them.At least our food was good minus the lobster tail. They definitely needed to hire more people for tonight so I don't blame our waitress for management's fault.

We spent our valentines date here, and everything was almost horrible. Very crowded, service was not good and the appetizer came 40 minutes after we ordered it. Also the main course came 30 minutes after the appetizer.My boyfriend got the steak, it was over cooked and chewy it had no seasoning. The fries were also stale.I got the chicken plate, the chicken was cooked perfectly but again it had no seasonings and no taste. We even ordered a bearnaise sauce so it could give our food some flavour but it was cold and without any salt or vinegar.
