“We just had lunch. I’ll breakdown the dishes, service and my overall impression and come to a conclusion.We had 3 dishes …I had the Salmone e Asiago. While I’m not a fan of risotto, this risotto was filled with little pieces of shrimp which was a delightful surprise. I liked it! Plus, the salmon was encrusted with a light layer of bread crumbs and Asiago cheese. It was tasty. I received a bit of veggie, carrots & zuchinni. My only preference would have been to include the salmon skin for the extra omega 3s and some extra crunch but, as is common in North American cuisine, nobody wants to do the extra work and descale the fish. My only small pet peeve and frankly I’m not targeting Just Cooking. Many, many places do this. Even many grocery stores won’t descale and, left to our own devices, we throw the skin out rather than descale. But I digress!My Mom ordered the “Fish soup”. While not on the menu, it’s served as a “Special” and is well known among the locals. They accommodated us and prepared it with plenty of fish and a good variety of vegetables. She really enjoyed it.My Sweetie order the Penne special. Her review is separate. She loved it.We ordered one tiramasu because they said “it’s big”. It was “big” and, as a dude in his 50s, I can’t see eating this by myself anymore and maintaining my svelte figure! Haha … it was delish!Service was cheerful. The ladies tried to please.Overall, I was surprised. Generally, I find restaurants outside Toronto are less competitive. They charge more for less. Was that the case here? No! For $30-$40 a plate at a full service restaurant outside Toronto, it seemed reasonable and it was tasty. They tried and did a good job. Can we ask for more?Just one last small request. Warm up the starter bread. “You don’t get a 2ⁿᵈ chance to make a good 1ˢᵗ impression.” Many places don’t. Here’s your chance to “stand out among the crowd”! ?”

“I took my mom to Revalee for brunch over the weekend, to celebrate Mothers Day. The service was great. The food and beverages were soooo good. My mom had the smoked salmon rosti and I have the level 5 vegan, fresh squeezed juice and an oat milk latte. We loved it! Can’t wait to come back.”

“There is no eat in....they come outside to meet you and that's where you pick up....no going inside. Parking is limited . Owner and staff were pleasant. I only ordered a pepperoni pizza..so I can't comment on other food served there. It was ok...nothing special. I found it to be a bit expensive for what you get.”

“We were at the Vineland Estates Winery for my Birthday, where we went on a wine and food pairing tour and enjoyed dinner at the Winery. Our guide for the wine and food pairing was amazing. She was able to answer all our questions and seems like she loves her job. The restaurent atmosphere was good and welcoming, and the food was amazing and was a great value for the price. You can get a 3 course meal for $70 and you can pay an extra $30 for wine pairing. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be going back.”

“Leashed dogs are totally welcome at this older looking, rustic farmhouse. Everything about the place is comfortable. The porch overlooks the vineyards. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Did I mention that there’s wine?I prefer red wine and got a four sample flight for $15. The wine I tried was delicious, although I’m definitely not an expert. We enjoyed the Cabernet Franc and the Cabernet Sauvignon and picked up a couple of bottles to bring home.It’s a very different vibe from some of the other Niagara vineyards with their posh and imposing buildings. We have visited a couple of times and with certainly go back.”

“Incredible maki rolls, they are seriously big. And the wonton soup was delicious, incredible meat & veg filling in the wontons. Everything was SOO fresh, and displayed with a wonderful (and edible) presentation. You can taste this food is made with heart and soul. Worth every penny. Thank you Izumi!”

“Went for a random lunch, stunning atmosphere with amazing views on the pond and ravine in the back. Great service, made us feel very wellcomed. I had a steak and frites which was excellent and cooked to perfection while my partner had the full chefs daily menu and she was absolutely satisfied. “We've been there once. I know it's super popular in Port Dalhousie and you are lucky if you get a spot. We could only find one by the bar which was fine. I didn't really care where I was sitting. I was there for the food, which was pretty good. The service was good. It's a very noisy place as rhey only have a pretty full house from what I experienced and read. Otherwise, maybe a bit pricey? Last time I checked, they were open on really odd days of the week, so we didn't repeat. I keep seeing it there when I pass by. Maybe we'll go again one day.”

“Stopped in at 13th Street today, to pick up their delicious butter tarts. Grabbed them, along with this mini carrot cake. WOW - this little cake is amazing. The cake was moist and full of flavour and the cream cheese icing was a 10/10. Want some amazing baking. Stop in at 13th Street. A niagara gem.”

We went for my niece's birthday and it was a great idea, my niece can be quite shy and our server Tim was so awesome, she brought her stuffed unicorn and he spent time and got her to engage with him by using Cotton Candy the Unicorn and by the time we left she was actually interacting with him herself! He was so friendly, and entertaining, making jokes and just being an all around pleasure to everyone, I would say probably the best server I have ever met!!!The food and drinks were soo good and were very nice size portions, I normally have no problem finishing all my food but I actually had to take some home!Prices were also awesome especially for the quality of both the staff and the food!!!The atmosphere was both cozy but still lively, and I loved the MTB statue in the front entrance! Also all the staff members were so kind and even with each other which was really nice too see, everyone actually seemed genuinely happy!Definitely a place to try if you haven't yet! :)Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu but they aren't restricted to it and you can substitute for other things, my nephew wanted poutine with his chicken strips instead of any of the other sides and they were super happy to change it around for him! :)”
