Lovely place with excellent service. Butter tarts are off the charts, egg sandwiches are delicious, and local crafts are available for purchase. Prices are very reasonable, will definitely return, and the proprietor was really lovely.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Not accessible

My daughter had to use bathroom very badly and was snidely refused and my wife offered to purchase $12 on coffee and some candy bars. Even after doing so staff was rude. The coffee was horrible I dumped it was old and gross.

Food was delicious and the staff are friendly. I would eat there again definitely. Thank you for having me.

It was an unexpected stop here! After gassing up our bikes in Thamesville, I mentioned to my partner to keep an eye open for a “small town cafe.” He abruptly pulled over when he saw Dave’s Cafe. What a delight. We love supporting local businesses. Our meals were delicious and the hospitality so friendly and down home like. Thank you very much. We will definitely make it our “must stop here” when we pass through again. Be well and stay safe. ❤️????✌️????

Very quaint. Lots of memorabilia to look at while you are waiting for your homecooked meal. Decent serving sizes. Owner is waitress. Waitress is cook. Cook is dishwasher. Dishwasher is owner.

Great hospitality and kind. I was stranded for a short time accross the street. Brought me bottled water and made sure I was okay. Amazing people.?
Had a great lunch today, very good menu and even better service.

Very unclean, looks like a health inspector would shut down the place upon inspection.

Very friendly is the only nice thing I can, I went in expecting a little greasy spoon and it was a step down, I ordered a burger with fries and gravey while the fresh cut fries were great the gravey was tasteless and I dont know why but the burger had a funny taste, it almost tasted like how the place smelled musty old building, I think what turned me off the most was it was filthy, dont get me wrong I normally love little town restaurants, I felt iwas a bit pricey for what it was. I talked to a couple behind me from Missouri and she had the soup and said it was great and if the smell was anything to go by then she was right , it smelled heavenly if you ignored the other smells. One last thing the grill itself was very clean. I really wish I would have waited about 20 minutes and stopped at Parks Blueberries up the road.
