Their charcoal chicken is a must try. It is super delicious and it comes with salad and rice that taste amazing. I would recommend having it at the restaurant. I do wish they gave more rice though because the chicken is huge and the amount of rice they give is not enough for two people.

The food is great!! We ate it all. But more incredibly, the customer service and staff were memorable. You see, our Tesla had locked us out in the parking lot amidst our food order, and the people here were very kind and accommodating. A staff member (which I didn't catch the name of unfortunately), came out with us, in the freezing cold, in hopes of fixing our issue. They gave us tea in fancy gold rimmed cups, and let us sit in the restaurant despite our frantic panic. How fun!
Such a beautiful resturant, the owner has a heart of gold, god bless her. The food is top tier. The charcoal chicken is my go to, its always made perfectly and tastes amazing.Overall a great wonderful resturant.

Their quality has really gone downhill. Just ordered on SkipTheDishes. Horrible rice and chicken. I feel like they have me leftovers. The rice were clumping. The chicken quality was so bad. Ugh never again.

I miss Al Madina's falafels so much, that I make a special point of getting them every time I'm back in town visiting my parents. Everything is top quality, and fresh tasting. Also had a great fatoush salad with lots of za'atar and a nice sprinkle of pomegranate molasses. Years, ago when they were in University Plaza, they used to have amazing beets, and I miss those. But every time I eat a sad falafel in Ottawa, that's just not as good, I want to get in the car and come home.

I was recommended to try Al Madina woodstone oven and grill and they exceeded my expectations. The restaurant served me and my family, one of the best Middle Eastern meals we’ve ever had.The food tasted fresh and delicious. The staff was very careful, and respectful, and provided excellent service.We ordered the mixed grill platter with rice and chicken manaeesh pizza for the kids, which they loved so much. Before the main course was served, we enjoyed fresh pita bread with delicious hummus and other dips as starters.For drinks, we had classic lemonade and strawberry lemonade.I definitely look forward to visit again, I already know what I’ll be ordering next from their menu. Can you guess? Lol

Fantastic experience at a unique Middle Eastern restaurant. The freshly made bread in its various forms is the star, but all the food was great. Much more than just your typical shawarma. The location was clean and stylish. Good for families. The service was terrific and the girl assisting us was helpful with suggestions and explanations. Plenty of parking available.
