I would not recommend the breakfast. I’m not very picky but honestly could barely eat it. It was not good.

Tried the cinnamon buns based on someone's recommendation. They were indeed really good. Decided last minute to get a breakfast to go. it was cooked quickly & tasted good:)

Quick breakfast on the way to Foxwood. Typical small town place. Nice people, quick service. I was in and out in no time.

Picked up an order from here for breakfast, got the German breakfast. Might have been the worst food I have ever received from a restaurant. The eggs were like rubber flapjacks, the roast soggy because they had clearly premise the order and left A stack of them to sit in the styrofoam container. No wonder it was ready in 4 minutes. The schnitzel and sausages were disgustingly over cooked. This food was beyond terrible. To top it off, we opened the lids to our hot apple cider, to find the cups only 2/3 full? We tossed the food, and will go make our own breakfast.

Went to Angie's and was served by Kaitlyn. The service was fantastic and the food was great. However, the kitchen staff were not wearing masks which made me very uncomfortable considering the heath guidelines in place due to the fact that we are currently in a pandemic. Also, management was continuously coming behind the counter and barking orders at the servers in a condescending way when it was evident that the servers were working hard at their jobs and providing excellent service to legitimate customers. Will not be returning to Angie's until proper health guidelines are being enforced, I genuinely feel bad for the staff that have to work under that management.

Its a good spot with lots of seating. They are still doing dine in as of early November. Solid all day breakfast and friendly staff that adhere to the health and safety requirements. I say give it a shot if you haven't been.

My son and I were in town today for Thanksgiving. We went to Angie’s for lunch today with a friend and had the pleasure of meeting Theresa(spelling?) the owner. She took the time to speak to Chase and show him pictures of her family for thanksgiving. It was a very family oriented feel which is completely lost today with the take over of chain restaurants. The food, shakes, Pepsi Float and Service was fantastic!! We will be sure to stop by next time we come to Waterloo!!

I mean I've been going for almost all my adult life, not so much lately, but today thought I'd give it a try. Service was attentive and good.Coffee, lots, the food, well the eggs and especially the toast and jam, yummy. The home fries not so much, usually I dont leave any orphans, these guys were obviously reheated and like mini rocks..not even edible unless you were a wolverine. Lastly since im kind of handicapped on my one side now,the trip to the downstairs was like a trip to hell even when i was of normal body..they have a ground floor one,i thought thank god..spoke too soon..waaayy in the back and a already skinny hallway was jammed with extra chairs and wooden high chairs, you could never ever get a walker down there...the place is soooooo tired and needs a reno..fast...they should have done this with all the covid down time..But i would go back...

It seems like they charge extra for to-go orders. I ordered pickup over the phone (not delivery) and was charged an extra $2 more for each item than what the online menu says. I don't think they state this on their website so I didn't even know until I got home and looked at my receipt. Their breakfast foods (pancakes, eggs, etc.) are good, but the sandwiches and fries are not that great. Staff is always super friendly though. I don't think I would go back as they are a bit overpriced.

This place doesn't deserve the 3.8 star review it has because it's a GREAT spot! I recently ate here and the last time I had been was in 2007....It's just as good now as it was then. It's a staple of Waterloo. Everything on the menu is good but the Melt is the best!

This is from February 8 2020 but got posted on the wrong business (not even the right town). The restaurant was crowded but they had lots of waitresses who were nice and helpful. Unfortunately my easy-over eggs were still raw (whites barely cooked), the bacon and toast were cold, and the potatoes were large chunks also unappealing. I was there to see friends so I didn't say anything but I'm not going back for the food. We've been coming since the late 1970s and it's really gone downhill.
