Disappointing take out experience. Ordered the teriyaki chicken don and the sukiyaki beef don. The teriyaki chicken don had zero vegetables listed on the menu, no seaweed salad as listed on menu, no seaweed in the dish either (listed on menu). The sukiyaki was extremely salty. The meals did not reflect the pictures or description of ingredients on the menu. The meals consisted of half the container of rice topped with long strands of egg, the other half with whatever meat was ordered.Perhaps the remainder of the menu is better, or dine in is better?Unfortunately, it won't be a restaurant location I will revisit.

Very delicious and perfect portions! The service was great and pleasant. Very polite and relaxing atmosphere. ☺️Dietary restrictions: Very respectful of my egg allergy and made sure to put the egg on a separate dish and not in my ramen.

I usually come here when visiting from Houston. By far the best ramen place I have found in Waterloo. The spicy red dragon is absolutely delicious and wish there was a place like this back in Houston. I’ll always come here everytime I visit Kitchener so long as they’re in business. Highly recommend!

The food was good, very flavourful. Service was also decent. The price is a little high compared to similar restaurants in the area.

I recently visited Asakusa at University ave Waterloo after seeing a "We are Hiring" poster on their wall. However, my experience was confusing as some waiters claimed they were hiring, while others said they were not. It's disheartening for job seekers to receive conflicting information. I urge the management to ensure consistency or remove the hiring sign if positions are not available. Clear communication is crucial for a positive customer experience.Feel free to adjust it according to your preferences before posting.

Tried this place for the first time and it was amazing. Walked right in and was helped immediately. The food came quickly and it was a great environment to eat and chat with my friend.I got the tonkatsu ramen and it was incredible. The pork was tender, the broth was outstanding and the noodles were delicious.
