My husband and I stopped into Proof for fish and chips last night and were told they had run-out around 6:30pm. Please tell me what restaurant that usually sells fish and chips runs out on Good Friday!! This is not the first time we've have been disappointed in the last 6 months with the quality and quantity of food available from this higher priced restaurant. We will not be returning until management can figure out how to bring this restaurant back to where it was a year ago.

Staying at the hotel. Ordered food. It was sitting there when I went to get at the time they told me. Get a call from a guy asking why I I didn’t pay. Had no idea what he was talking about as when I ordered I said “charge it to my room” he then asked “I assume you are not leaving a tip?” Horrible customer service!

I went to Proof Kitchen for a friends birthday party and we had Scott as our server! He was so attentive and kind, and made sure we had an amazing time. He made sure to make my friends day, and brought her a dessert on the house at the end! The food was absolutely delicious - and I know we will be back soon!Thank you to Scott and Proof Kitchen for making our friends birthday memorable.

Last night's "farm" themed Chef's Tasting Dinner was an outstanding and creative experience for our taste buds. Stories about each course from the team showed us just how much the kitchen values their local farmers. We loved the chance to try many new foods (like sweetbreads, tartar) and trimmings (for example, edible flowers, sea buckthorn, truffles, wild mushrooms chaga..). Pairings were perfect.

We have never had a bad meal there, food is always great and Wednesday wine night is great value, our server forgot one of our apps ahead of the meal which he compensated free desserts for, overall a great outing.

The restaurant was really busy and our waiter tried very hard to keep up He did a good job. The lady at the front cleaned a table for me so that I could have my requested booth. Everyone worked hard to ensure our date night was fabulous. Thank you Proof

We recently hosted a group gathering (20) in the hospitality room. An advanced menu was preset with a couple entre selections. The service was good, however 80% of the meals were delivered cold. Fortunately mine was one of hot meals and was unaware of the cold ones until later. The server was advised by a guest, but due to the number of meals needing replacement it was decided not to cause the embarrassment. Upon completing a survey the day later I contacted the restaurant manager. He said there wasn't much he could do at that point in time. If we had been more forth come at the time the meals would have been replace. We paid $2,800 including a mandatory 20% tip, plus, plus. I would have thought the manager would have been able to offer something better than apologies. We'll probably not revisit Proof again along with 20 of our guests once they hear thee managers response.

We were staying at the Delta Marriott, so Proof Kitchen was very convenient! We enjoyed burgers for dinner the first night, and they were excellent... We did breakfast the next morning everything was cooked to perfection and hot... Nothing worse than cold food in my opinion... After a long day at the market and antiquing, we came back for dinner that night, and had the steak dinners.. I opted for the sirloin, which to be honest is not one of my favourite steaks, but it was juicy and tender and cooked perfectly... Our waiter. Both evenings was Darrell and he was very Chi the first night, but the second night he was quite funny, but both nights he was very professional and did a great job. I would certainly record mend this restaurant, and look forward to enjoying a meal There again in the near future kudos to the staff and the chef.

We had planned a long overdue girls' night and half priced wine Wednesday did not disappoint. The menu had so many fabulous choices and we were all very pleased with our meals. Our server was amazing!!
