I think this place might be permanently closed. Went there during business hours and it wasn't open. Doesn't look open either with all the boxes piled up inside. Too bad.

Avoid this place. Ordered Chinese pancake with pork filling, 70% of the inside are just oil. Just disgusting. The proportions are terrible as well, got two small pieces for the price of 7.99. Do you have no shame for serving this kind of food?

Big portions, good taste. I usually get the Japanese curry with beef and rice. It tastes very homey and rich and comes with generous portions of beef! Tip: 10% off with cash

Silkburg is a quaint and adorable spot to grab a bite if you are craving asian comfort food. The decor is simple but cozy, and the service is also great. During my visit, a friend and I ordered the Braised Pork Rice (~$10), Stewed Beef Noodles (~$12), and the Beef Wrap (~$6). The ordering is done at the front counter, but a kind server will bring you the food if you choose to eat-in (which I'd recommend - the atmosphere is lovely and the place never looks to be too crowded). The first thing we noticed about the food was that the portions were massive. The Braised Pork Rice was a decent size, but definitely manageable for a hungry person with an average appetite. The bowl of Stewed Beef Noodles, on the other hand, was definitely huge enough to satisfy two people. We expected the Beef Wrap to be appetizer-sized, but it came out looking like a full-sized burrito. Needless to say, we ordered far more than enough food for our stay. Taste-wise, the braised pork and beef wrap were both a 4/5. The noodle broth wasn't my favourite, but I might just order it again if I get hungry enough (lol). Overall, Silkburg is a great addition to the neighbourhood and serves as the perfect place for a low-key meal. :-)

Ordered a braised beef sandwich and a coffee. Their sandwich was delicious. The coffee however was a different story. The lady working there picked up a Kcup and walked to the machine and made a coffee for me; the problem is I got home and I opened my cup to add sugar and found coffee grinds in my coffee. Not sure if she thought the Kcups were instant powder, but she had emptied an entire Kcup into the cup and added hot water. I spent about 15 minutes trying to strain the coffee grinds out and in the end still had a lot at the bottom (see picture).I would probably go again for the sandwiches or even to try the noodles, but I don't know about the coffee...
