Two friends and myself went to sole in the afternoon to celebrate a birthday. We were initially sat in the middle of the section and it was quite loud for our “older” ears. I spoke to the hostess, sorry I don't know her name, if we could move. She immediately said yes, she knew the floor bookings without even having to recheck , and set us up in great booth. She handled it promptly and graciously. Our server, Monika, was equally gracious, top notch. She made out substitutions in a very accommodating way, paced the serving of the food wonderfully, and touched base with us but not intrusively. And a surprise birthday crème brûlée was beautifully presented to our friend. She even paid attention to who in our party was the birthday woman. The experience was brilliant from start to finish. And the food was delish.

I have not been to Solé for some time since we have moved. We took our granddaughter there for lunch yesterday and we thoroughly enjoyed. The food and drinks were excellent, service flawless and ambience is wonderful. Would highly recommend.

One of my favourite restaurants in the city. The food is delicious and high quality and always prepared to perfection. Great menu selection too. I always enjoy coming here and always leave happy. My family loves it too!

Our guest commented that there could have been more pasta selections and there was no acknowledgement that it was a birthday celebratory. Other than those little things the food and service was very good.

I only regret not going here earlier. Staff and service great. Food was fresh tasting and had menu choices I don't usually see in kw so it was very refreshing to try something innovated and elevated at decent price. Plenty of parking off the street which is so hard to find in uptown . Selection of wine modest , would like to see a Cabernet Sav. Available by the glass. To note I appreciated the waitress asking about any allergy or intolerance. I will definitely return !Vegetarian options: More than one choiceDietary restrictions: GFParking: Parking lot behind building. Many spots including handicapped.

I liked the food I had, salmon with a beet and wild rice salad. Also, their cocktail, chocolate.... (forgot the other part) was so good that I ordered another drink of the same cocktail. You have to book before going. We did not book but were lucky enough to have an emptable for aboit 1.5 hours a d it was good for us.

Food and service was as expected. A bit put off that we were seated by the kitchen even though we had a reservation and there were plenty of tables still available at the time we arrived.

Great food! We hated the music so much that it affected the whole experience. But we really enjoyed the food! Grilled scallops were so tender and juicy, and the tiramisu was perfect!

The entre menu is limited for vegetarians. Sweet potato lasagna? Weird. Traditional vegetarian lasagna would be better. The baby greens salad and the beet salad were delicious. Crab cake was great. The shrimp linguini with tomato sauce was delicious; four large seasoned shrimp. Cave Spring Niagara wine was a nice choice. Our waiterstaff Heidi was excellent.
