A decent sized menu for a family owned restaurant! Food is prepared fresh and authentic, the side dish choices are flavourful as well, and owner is extremely kind.

Minced pork + egg tastes good - not too oily. Personally I prefer sweeter and with short grain rice, but this is more authentic and just as good. Service was fast and friendly. 4.5 ⭐️ - I would go back :)

Delicious food - the portions are generous, the food itself has a nice homemade/authentic quality to it - all for amazing prices. I gave a 20% tip and still paid under $20.On top of that, the owner is super sweet and welcoming. They ran out of beef soup for the Taiwanese beef noodle soup, but the owner kindly recommended the Dan Dan Noodles instead. It was super tasty, and the owner was very warm! Overall a really great experience. I'm definitely coming back again!

Very good Taiwanese popcorn chicken. It’s a bit spicy but not bad. The Taiwanese beef noodle soup was good and so was the pork belly dish I also ordered. The owner is very sweet and friendly. The veggies with the pork belly were good. There’s free tea and water you can fill up yourself.

The house special chicken was extremely spicy for my taste, but I liked the combination of spices in it. The chicken was crunchy on the outside and chewy inside. Also, it wasn't oily like other stir-fried chicken I had in other places before.The rice smelled great and was a necessity considering how spicy the chicken was.Taste of Taiwan is definitely not a fancy restaurant, but its staff is nice and friendly. I would recommend this place to you if you have been to Taiwan before or if you feel adventurous and want to try new things.
Just like all the other reviews said, we also got the friendliest service, authentic Taiwanese food, I was instantly teleported back home. The owner was chatting with my dad in Taiwanese, what a treat!
