Great food and very nice date environment. Food is slightly pricey but good. Service is horrendous. Waitresses are too busy chatting to come and do their job but will be super bubbly and friendly when it comes to paying the bill lol.

I love this place. Usually I go here with a laptop. It’s busier during weekends but still the wait time is very less compared to other breakfast places nearby. The hosts are wonderful. The coffee and food is great. I’ve loved everything I’ve ordered till now.If you are looking for a brunch then - Taaza Bowl is a very good option. The quality of food is excellent. I always have to take away as I can never finish.Love their house coffee. Probably it’s Vincenza. But I’m not 100% sure about it.The music is a bit loud so if you’re having a company then might have to talk a bit louder than normal. I usually go by myself to work on a weekend morning so I’m cool with this.Highly recommend this place for a good breakfast or brunch.Parking: You can find underground parking along with open parking.

This place has bad service. Forever getting orders wrong (giving meat when we asked and paid for veggie option) and burning food. Been going here for awhile and i officially give up getting food or drinks from them. Please find more competent morning staff.

Great food but have visited many times and almost every time don't feel welcome. Workers never say hi or even greet you when you enter. On top of that seem to get offended when you don't tip on a $6 cookie or coffee... Catch 22 can't win.

Stopped in after a late lunch at the restaurant. Staff were very friendly. Selection was small and pretty pricy. Ordered one butter tart to go. The tart was ok. Not the best I've had, but certainly better than most. More expensive than most. The one thing that irked me was the tip option on the debit machine. I don't think getting one butter tart to go warranted a tip. There was no option for no tip. You had to click on "other" and it requires you to put in your own amount. When I left it at zero it pops up with a warning that I haven't entered an amount and am I sure i don't want to leave a tip. This is going way to far for a tip. I don't like that attitude that whoever set up the tip option would go so far as to question a customer on their tip like that. Doubt I'd be back.

As I enjoyed my coffee at Bauer Bakery, I couldn't help but be uplifted by the continuous stream of positive interactions I witnessed between Zerka and Dylan and their customers. In an age where meaningful interactions with strangers often seem scarce, it was truly heartwarming to witness the profound impact they have on every individual who walks through that door. Thank you, Zerka and Dylan, for spreading positivity and making every visit to Bauer Bakery a memorable one. If I could give 6 stars I would!

A gem of an uptown spot to have coffee, brunch or lunch. Heated patio made for an enjoyable October brunch!

Wonderful bakery connected to a very nice restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

The food just wasn’t great. My Cali chicken sandwich just looked and tasted like it had no effort to put into it. Cute looking restaurant though that looks like it has a great patio for the summer.

Stopped by for a hot chocolate on a cool fall day. Hot chocolate at best was warm and size was very small I had asked for a large. The price was unbelievable 5.95!!!! Nothing memorable and will not be back. Seven shores on Regina is much much better.

Not sure how I managed to have missed this place for so many years. Didn't try the food but will next time.

Great space, great service, delicious food, and a fantastic gluten-wise menu! Gluten-wise battered calamari & zucchini were perfect, as was the tiger shrimp penne. The whiskey sour lacked taste, sadly…my only complaint. The restaurant was difficult to find as the address given on Google maps is 187 King Street but the sign is (a) on a side street and (b) nearly invisible, while access is vía a courtyard off yet another street.

Good menu with normal prices. The steak I had was excellent and perfectly cooked. Good service. Definitely a good place for dinner if you’re in the area.
