A Tavola Bistro is an absolute gem nestled in Whitby, offering an unforgettable Italian dining experience. From the moment you step in, the cozy ambiance sets the perfect tone for an evening of culinary delight. The mains, including the chicken parmigiana and fettuccine, were outstanding, bursting with authentic flavors that transport you straight to Italy. But the real star of the show was their fresh-baked focaccia bread; it was an indulgent treat we couldn't resist ordering twice. The wine collection complemented the meal impeccably, offering a variety of choices to suit every palate. And to top it all off, the desserts provided a perfect ending to an already amazing dinner. A Tavola Bistro is truly a must-try for anyone craving exquisite Italian cuisine in Whitby.

Strip loin steak, roasted potatoes and green beans are delicious. Pea and asparagus soup, too. Dessert was home made. Food is all prepared fresh in house.Dietary restrictions: I told staff about allergies.

Tried this place again after 3+ years as I wasn't impressed the first time. And once again, wasn't really a big fan. Would recommend KB, Springwood or even Bella Notte over this restaurant in Whitby.

Restaurant was quiet and intimate with low jazz music in the background. Food was average overall, with some dishes not justifying the cost (additional cost). We had the bread plate, Arancini, and beet salad as starters followed by the Veal parm + housemate pasta ($10 additional dollars and not worth it - stick with the potatoes) and the salmon with mango and couscous. All of the starters were tasty and well presented - Arancini could have been a bit more cheesy, and the beet salad could have had a few more beets (5 mini beets and lettuce for $17). Large portions for the mains - Veal was two large pieces, a bit chewy, and breading was soggy with zero crunch - pasta was tasty but overcooked. Salmon was very tasty and cooked well along with the couscous. Cannoli and Pancotta for dessert were both delicious. Service was average and friendly overall ( we had to top up our own wine ? throughout the meal).
