To start, my server cleared a table ahead of me and then grabbed all my tea and dishes without washing her hands first between customers. I work in a long term care facility as a Frontline worker. She could easily be transferring Covid from one customer to another without a care. I asked her to wash her hands and bring me newly non-contaminated dishes. She literally went to the back, turned the water on for not even 5 seconds, RINSED her hands and dried them. This actually ruined my entire meal and I hadn't even ordered yet. After my meal came, I then asked for butter. She gave me the butter from the fridge, which I complained that I couldn't use because it was too hard. THEN she gave me the butter that had been sitting out and softened. Why would she give me the hard butter? Makes ZERO sense. Also, the 2 VERY tiny pieces of fruit was a little disappointing. Cora's gives a perfect amount of fruit as a side dish. Overall, not a good experience and will not be going back and slightly upsetting because I did want to try other things on the menu, but not after this experience.
Went to the restaurant this morning to have brunch with my husband. While we were seated right away, no one came to take our orders - not even for drinks/coffee. We sat at the table for 20 minutes without any service. We watched as people who arrived after us were served. We finally got up and left without ordering. This restaurant used to be a staple for us and our family attending quite often for Sunday breakfast. Terribly disappointed in your service. We won’t come back here again. If you are under new ownership, I suggest you get your business plan in order and make sure you are adequately staffed and that you pay attention to ALL of your customers. Sincerely, the couple you put in the corner table and then proceeded to ignore.
