My experience today with food Village was not good. I called to order chicken biryani and I asked the man who had answered the phone, he said it would take 10 minutes. I had no problem with that and I was telling him that I was already at the plaza. He started talking to me in a loud voice saying it takes time to cook the food and that I was trying to rush him but I tried to explain to him that I had no problems with picking it up in 10 minutes but he would not let me talk. He was very very rude. This person should not be working in a place like that. I always dealt with a very nice lady there and she was not allowed to talk to me.

This is my second time ordering and had another fantastic experience. I just by chance stopped in the first time as I was at a job site near their plaza. I was starving and when I went in he said everything’s made fresh so it will take some time (I thought they had those pre-made hot trays with ready to go food) I ordered the butter chicken and the owner was so sweet and gave me a free Samosa while I waited. The food was delicious!!This past weekend was my sons bday and he asked for Indian food for his party. We ordered with Omar who helped give suggestions with food portions and options. He brought all the food out to my car for me and even threw in some free extra pops for the birthday boy.The tandoori chicken and rice was soooo good! Everything was fresh and the perfect amount for all of us!!!Great experience and highly recommended :)

No wonder your ratings are 3.1 because you cheat food lovers saying daal makhani with lentils and kidney beans in the end give normal daal with no kidney beans or lentils in it.PATHETIC!

Not only was the food fantastic, but when they heard I'd be walking my takeout order home, they wrapped the containers in seran wrap for added leakproofing and stability. I was pleasantly surprised when I unpacked at home. Their kind consideration has made a loyal customer out of me. I look forward to trying more things in the future :)

I was traveling to Ottawa. We stopped here to have Food.We had the Family Platter. It had 2 curries, Butter Chicken and Veal Nahari. Both were very delicious. If you are not a fan of spicy food, then this Butter Chicken is for you, the Nahari was also equally good, but on the spicy side. The Beef Kebab was out of the world, they also tasted very good. The platter also had 2 Chicken Biryani, we upgraded for 1 Lamb and 1 Chicken Biryani. The Biryani was good, but it could've been improved. All in all, I was impressed. Not to forget, we visited this place as they were about to close, the Lady at the counter was very polite and accommodated us.

Excellent food quality at a reasonable price. I have ordered from them for 5 times in last 10 days. Owners are very generous as I requested substitution couple of times for some items and they accepted my requests without any additional charges.Everything is good especially sesame seed naans. I have been to hundreds of restaurants in GTA but haven’t found a naan as good as food village.Highly recommended!!!

This has become a usual place for me. Being close to my house is the main reason, but the owners are very friendly and they recommend you dishes based on your craving. Every dish I ever had from this place was worth the money

Visited this place for the first time and it's probably also my last. Food quality is terrible. Ordered veal biryani, it was tasteless and felt like I was eating 3- days old stuff. The beef haleem hardly had any meat, you might as well just call it vege haleem.Just stick to your usual, Foodtime or Silverspoon!

Tried their veg samosas and dahi pari.Dahi papri was too sweet and no coriander chutney. Veg samosa was cold and had no flavour.
