Excellent food and service. I had a hot beef sandwich and it was delicious. I wish I could remember the name of the server. She was great.

The burgers look good but I only go for the pizza, which us always good. The cheesecake we had for dessert was fantastic as well.Just remember to ask how large the appetizers are if you haven't been here before or are trying something new, I ordered the nachos and the plate was so big you could share it between 3 people easily so I was barely hungry by the time my pizza arrived. My mom on the other hand had crab cakes which were reasonably sized for 1 person.

Chris and I had lunch there today. I have certain food allergies, and the Staff were able to make sure that what I had ordered was without any of the ingredients that I cannot eat. Very professional, always attentive to us with the busy lunchtime crowd. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was excellent and service was top notch! Would definitely go back to try more stuff. Pizza was amazing. Ribs were good, slighty over done but nothing to complain about was still fall of the bone good.. Coconut shrimp was good.

My husband and I brought our Mother and 1 year old daughter for dinner tonight and loved the food. I had the lamb shank and it fell off the bone. But here's the best part...After our food was served, my daughter was getting cranky because she didn't want to sit in her highchair so, two different servers offered to take her for a walk as we finished our meal. By the time we were ready to go home, my daughter did not want to leave! The staff went way over and beyond for us and we are so thankful.

Ordered delivery this evening and was extremely disappointed. I wouldn’t say this is our regular go to pizza shop but we have ordered from here a bunch of times. Their prices are higher than your typical cookie cutter pizza shop but every once in a while I don’t mind spending the extra because NORMALLY their pizza is phenomenal. They have interesting combinations that you can’t always get from your chain restaurants. Tonight we tried the short rib pizza (first time trying) and the MVP (my go to every time from Hot Rocks). Both were absolutely terrible. The short rib pizza, the actual short ribs were so over cooked they were almost inedible. Describing the meat as dry and flavourless would be an under statement. But, since this was the first time trying this one, maybe it’s always like this, I don’t know. The MVP as I previously stated is usually such a hit and the reason I always order it. Again, tonight, it was terrible. Bland, flavourless and actually tasted stale, like it had been sitting out for a while before we received it. Both pizzas were coated in flour on the bottom which is just awful to eat, and completely ruins the flavour of the pizza. Really, really disappointed with Hot Rocks. To spend over $50 for 2 pizzas with delivery and tip and receive the quality we did, just doesn’t sit well with me. Might be the last time we order from them sadly…

We lived in the neighborhood for over 12 years but never went to this place. Always walked by and the food smelled so good. We finally had the opportunity to sit and have a meal at this place. I have to say, it was one of the best meals and the best service. Thanks and we will definitely be

I have been going to this restaurant throughout my lifetime and have always had great experiences here. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is truly warm and inviting. The food is absolutely delicious - they have delicious crab cakes, beef, pizzas, and an array of choices. The service is always great - they have staff that have worked there for many, many years that are always welcoming and attentive. The place is often busy, but in a good way, creating a nice environment. I recommend you try going there if you haven't yet!Parking: Endless parking spots available, as it's located in a plaza with other stores and a grocery store

What an insulting experience! We were met at the door in a disdainful manner - at 3:45 p.m.“Do you have a reservation?!”When I asked if we needed one, the rude blond told me, “As long as you’re gone by 6:15 you can have a seat!”We were seated against a wall in the darkest part of the restaurant. The food was bland and tasteless. Our service was swift and semi-courteous.The waitress was polite.Another woman, carrying nothing, walked by us 5 times. Guess she needed to check we weren’t planning on overstaying our deadline.Obviously we weren’t welcome.Hot Rocks used to be tasteful and congenial. What a shamefully-changed environment!Too bad. I guess, now, clientèle need to fit a certain profile. We, and it was made clear to us, did not.We won’t be back and won’t refer others.

I'm not sure how old this restaurant is but in the four years I've lived in this area, I have not heard of the spot so I decided to try it. The restaurant is nice. The bathrooms are clean and service is quick friendly, and efficient and the food was great. My Caesar salad was a little dry, which was a bit disappointing as the waitress had told me how good the dressing was but other than that. it was great. I would definitely recommend it, and I would definitely go again..
