Awesome French restaurant nearby! The food is seriously delicious, and the portions are big – no one leaves hungry. The vibe is super cozy, comfy, and like being with family. Honestly, it's probably the best service we've had in Canada. Our server was so friendly and did everything to make our ten-year anniversary just perfect. I had the pleasure of having lunch at Nice-Bistro. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we stepped in France. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The owners were incredibly attentive and kind. We could tell they take pride in their business.We were so glad to be able to practice our French. Moreover, we were so impressed with how the owners took care of a group of students. By being involved, present and kind, everyone had a great experience.The food was so delicious. We had stuffed crepes, Paysanne and Bergère. They were both really good. The salad that came with them was fresh and locally sourced.Will definitely return. Highly recommended

Lovely little restaurant, very clean and featuring artwork by a local artist. The owner, who served us is charming and really added to the experience. The prixe fixe is a great deal, and you can upgrade to French onion soup! The soup was good, well proportioned broth, bread and cheese. The steak frites were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Steak was tender and delicious, though mine had a bit more fat than preferred. Pot de chocolat and blueberry gateaux were very good (forgot to take pics). We need to eat here more often!!

Charming spot in downtown Whitby! The family welcomes you like old friends. The chef is brilliant. You will feel you have been transported to a bistro in France. If you want a real treat, book a table on jazz nights.
Love coming here for great comfort food and a warm welcome. We enjoyed the prix fixe menu. The soup of the day was black eyed bean soup and it was perfect for a cold day. And my steak frites was super delicious. Highly recommended if you are ever in Whitby for a nice French bistro experience.
