I came here on a Saturday the other weekend and they were closed. And have to say I was upset becuase it said it was open on line and drove all the way there for it to be closed. Ive been their when it's open and food is amazing. I would like to go eat there still. But I'm not going to waste my time driving to go eat and it be closed again

I've been here plenty of times over the years and I always receive a delicious meal for a great price with wonderful service alongside it.The kind older lady is always here and always super friendly and nice.You'll notice that not many people are here, but those that do come are all regulars and treated as friends.Compared to the other Pho restaurant quite literally just up the hill I found the food here to be much better, the aroma is especially delicious here as well. I highly recommend the P1 rare beef flank meal. Medium is plenty enough for a normal size meal and comes at a great price.If you like a good soup, this is the perfect restaurant for you.

Got the 'HOUSE SPECIAL PHO' and came with raw beef only. When asking why there is no tripe, beef balls, or anything else for that matter, they said they "discontinued" it. I must have had a thousand bowls of pho but never like this.

Run by Aunt Emily and Ken (who cooks all this amazing stuff), Surpryz is a warm, family run restaurant with fantastic food.The dining room is clean and spacious. They also offer a lunch special which is pure value.We had the Surpryz Phad Thai and the Vermicelli with grilled pork and a spring roll. Both are excellent choices, though you can't go wrong with practically anything on the menu. Yes, it's that good.The vermicelli with grilled pork comes with ample veggies and is full of flavour. The crispy spring rolls are slightly chewy for a nice texture. The phad thai is an absolute dynamite of flavor, though a well-balanced dynamite, if you will.Aunt Emily and Ken are great conversationalists and made us feel at home, so do linger if you can!All round an amazing experience with food prepared with passion, 6 stars!

First time yesterday and nearly walked out as no one was at the desk. 2 sets of customers eating.But as we were leaving, an. Elderly lady came and asked us to sit anywhere.We ordered the brisket curry and a veg green curry and was extremely glad we stayed.The lady (possibly owner) was very delightful and cheery.The food was absolutely delicious.If their service is a little slow, give it time, looks like a family run operation.The prices are fair.Food is very tasty and fresh.Definitely recommend and will certainly return.

Ordered the house special and viet spring rolls. The large was giant and the soup was delicious. That's what really stood out to me. The noodles and meat were also tasty but the soup was the highlight. Compared to other pho restos in the area. Surpryz has the best soup! The staff were very kind. My wife is a small eater so we wanted to take hers to go after eating. The gentlemen serving us was very kind and one detail that I appreciated was the takeout containers he gave us to wrap up our pho. He gave us 2 large soup containers, 1 for noodles and 1 for soup. And he also gave us a small cardboard cutout to use as the base of the bag. I really like the extra thought given. It makes sure your food won't spill or fall over in the car ride home. First visit and will definitely be back!

My partner and I came here for lunch since our normal pho spot was closed. He and I both got the rare beef pho as well as dim sum. Pho broth was some of the best we have tried!! Portion was great size (we got medium) and service was both friendly and quick. The interior is nothing fancy but I find this is a feature of good food. We will definitely be adding this to our rotation :)

I like the the Tom Yam beef noodle. My favorite. The soup is spicy and thick, really taste good. One large bowl is more than enough for two persons I like the won ton noodle too. The won ton just taste the same as what I had in my home country. Yummy.Parking: Plenty parking spaces
