This used to be my fav breakfast place. However, since last few times they hold no respect for their customers time. They took 20 mins to provide us with a seat, another 10 mins to take up the order, next 50 mins we waited and still our order wasn’t there. When asked them about the order, they said we can pack in a box if it’s getting late. What a horrible experience it was, why would I go to a place to eat when I had to eat in a box. We left that place without having anything. Zero hospitality and the worst part is no respect for Customer’s time.None of the staff informed us about the approx wait time otherwise we would have taken our decision whether we need to wait or not. However, I believe the restaurant is expanded but the workforce is still the same because of which it’s difficult to manage the crowd. Even when the seats are empty there are people waiting in the queue. However, having said that the staff didn’t inform us about the wait time it would take for the food to arrive which would have provided us a clarity.

If you’re going there on the weekend, please be prepared that it would take more than an hour to be served.Last Sunday, me and my girlfriend went to this place, we wanted to have pancakes. It took about 15 mins to get seatedAnother 10 minutes to be asked of our orderAnd we waited, waited, waited for 50 mins…Where we lost our patience.I asked them to give me the bill for my coffee and we will leave. They said the pancakes are coming right up.Waited another 5 mins. The lady says I can have it boxed for you.SERIOUSLY, well who would come to have pancakes if they were to be packed only.Well, I paid for the coffee which I didn’t even drink and left the place. Was hugely disappointed, waste of TIME.

So the food was okay, but so overrated. No better than a typical run of the mill budget diner, but way more expensive. Service was kind but also definitely lacking. I'm not sure if it was short on staff or if that's just the vibe here, but it felt very underwhelming and underserviced. There weren't many tables with people when we came in, and the food still took like 45 minutes. Left feeling a tad regretful on time and money spent.

Super qauint place with very lovely service. The food is astounding and actually pretty before you take your first few bites. A definite must if youve never gone before.Parking: Parking is easiest just a 2-3 minute walk away in a paid parking lot

I looked at reviews before going here for breakfast. The atmosphere is so lovely. Service was very friendly, but slow. I definitely waited a long time for coffee to be refilled. I got one of their eggs Benedict specialties. The eggs and sauce were both cold. The potatoes were cold and very overcooked. Overall I just didn't think it was worth the price.

A nice patio setting and good service. The southern fried chicken was really delicious, but my husband and I thought the hash browns were too salty and underdone and the poached egg came well-done instead of runny, but I forgot to let the waitress know my preference and the waitress forgot to ask. It was pricey for breakfast, expect to pay around $20 per person for a average meal. I thought the quantity was lacking as well, we left satisfied but not full, which is what I expect for $20 a person. we never went back

If I could, I would give this place 7 stars out of 5! This is such a cute little place, the servers are kind, the prices are great, and the breakfast was delicious! Definitely would go back again and again and again if I was local to this area ???Vegetarian options: Lots of their meals have bacon or meat options but they happily substitute for veg friendly options!Kid-friendliness: we ordered a plate of pancakes for the two toddlers with us and they split it into two plates for each child ??

I went to this restaurant for breakfast in November. It's a nice, bright, clean little restaurant. Washroom is clean too.If you can go when it's not too busy, then the service is very good. But if you go when it gets busy, you may have to wait a long time for your food.I had the a regular eggs and turkey bacon breakfast. And Mimosas (yum). It wasn't too pricey. The food presentation was very nice. And while I went when it wasn't busy and received good service, my fiancé came to meet me after and while it got busy. Unfortunately, it seems they forgot to put his order in. 40 mins later, they realized this and put it in. We knew this because we were seated by the kitchen. They didn't offer anything to compensate. We didn't make a fuss because we were not from the area anyway and probably wouldn't go back.I would still recommend this restaurant, but if you don't get your order within 15mins when it's busy, confirm they didn't forget to put it in with the kitchen.

Came with my family of 8. It was their first time in Windsor, and their first breakfast at Dog’s. Waited almost an hour for our food to come out. Only two servers — restaurant was unprepared for the weekend. The food took so long, as if there were one or two people in the kitchen. While we were waiting for our food, we ran out of water and our server hadn’t checked up on us in half an hour. Didn’t refill our water until we asked when our food finally came out. When our food came out, home fries and poutine were cold, bread was stale. My family member visiting had the wrong side order. My other family member couldn’t even eat her sandwich. And when it came time to pay, the server didn’t tell us there was an auto-gratuity of 18% added on to the bill already, so I tipped an extra 15% on top, which after the food and service, wasn’t really deserved. The bill for just 2 people alone came up to $70, which is way too much for the breakfast we got. I’m a server myself, and know that it is common courtesy to let a party know when there is gratuity added on the bill.I never want to come back.
