Pros.Friendly, attentive staff.Clean restaurant.Quickly prepared.I had the mushroom Swiss burger and it was really good. Seasond,with a little drop of gravy on the bum. Heavenly.The fries were delicious.Cons.The look of the restaurant is a little dated. But that's it.Delicious food and friendly service. That's a win for me.

Definitely my first and last visit. Ordered on door dash and appreciated fast delivery, although the food is nothing but disgusting.The meat was gamey, tasteless. My 2 year old who loves all different types of food and eats poutine loaded with stuff all the time said it’s yuck, my 6 year old said that the burger tasted like it could be dog. No toppings came on the burger even though I only stated no onion.. the fact it was fast and cheap says it all. Meat was obviously frozen too. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

Always try to visit the House of India when visiting Windsor. Have tried most of the vegetarian and chicken dishes, which range from very good to excellent. I enjoy my food quite spicy, while the GF does not, and we are inevitably always both satisfied. Highly recommend!

I've been here several times with friends as I live downtown and it is within walking distance. I'm consistently disappointed with the food and the service. I'm not sure what goes on in the kitchen, but last time I was there we waited over an hour for the food and we were the only 5 people in the restaurant (with no explanation or apology from the waitress, to boot). All the food I've tried has been pretty bland and their curries are thin and watery. Authentic Indian food is anything BUT flavourless so it is a disappointment to see them using old, frozen vegetables in the vegetable korma. I've given it several chances and won't go back again.

Moved to Windsor recently and was on the hunt for some food. I've been here twice with my friends already and we will definitely be back! Food is addictive and so flavourful. I'm craving it right now. Alright I'm going to get me some now. Seriously. EDIT: After looking through some comments, let's keep in mind that most people who are angry with a restaurant go and review it poorly, I came here because I am that addicted to this stuff!

What can I say about this places food other than it is amazing every time we go. Food is excellent and owners are very friendly, even gave us a tour of their kitchen and tandoori oven. Last time we were there with a party of 6 and ordered 6 different dishes and shared everything which the waiter recommended...AMAZING being able to taste all the different dishes. Going there TONIGHT so thought I had to write a review on it. See you all there!

good east Indian food, good tasting,temperature,presentation,quantity, chicken vindaloo very spicy served hot with potatoes, tandori chicken serving on sizzling metal hot plate, large plate of rice served hot, naan cooked fresh to order = excellent, coke served in can, water on demand, good variety avail on menu, service attentive, all good, clean table cloths,older decor, plain simple nothing fancy, dine for the food not for the ambience, menu pricing good value, very satisfactory dining experience, a hidden gem in downtown Windsor, will return whenever in town, highly recommend ...........................enjoy

This was not a very good experience, the lamb was to hard and most of the food tasted cold some of it tasted old and yet you would have think that they would take there time because the place wasn't much busy. Besides that the appearance was nice. I wouldn't recommend this place.

brought family here for dinner one evening, second time trying Indian food, (didnt like it first time) but i loved it this time and will definitely be going back!! its not all spicy, thats a misnomer, a lot of mild stuff. 10/10 for value!!

Great food, and really good prices for what you're getting, including about 6 drinks, our bill was only about $50. going there again soon!
Excellent food, enjoyed it very much and service was great. Food is incredibly tasty and fresh. Will be having brother's birthday here, recommend definitely!

I took my girl friend to this place to try out Indian Food during our visit to Casino Windsor. It was an average dining experience, we both love Indian Food. We are regular to an Indian Restaurant in our home town London. I'll say food and service needs improvement.
