My kids had blast one of her 1st time in nice place to eat that was not fast food. She was younger when cov19 happened so going out to eat is still new to her. She felt so special and want to come again

It was a big surprise too see Josh back for a visit, sat at the bar and the serves was excellent and the food also. You cant go wrong with the buffalo poutine have never had a bad one yet.

Had a great time watching the Lions game and the Wings be Leafs game at the same time! Lots of TV's and beer and app specials. Service is quick and friendly. Definitely go here for any game for the atmosphere and food/drinks!

Went to John Max to watch the Detroit Lions play their first home, playoff game in 32 years. And they won! My table and all the other tables ate, drank and cheered for three hours. Great time.

Had a delicious serving of mac and cheese bites and a juicy burger (my friend didn't tip). The server was also a very friendly gentlemen who was very accommodating with his services (my friend didn't tip like, at all). Wait times for the food was also not very long at all (like, zero dollars towards a tip from him). Look forward to coming back soon! (sorry my friend didn't tip)

I went to this location with my husband this past weekend, and wow, was the service excellent! Our server Megan was personable and efficient, and made the overall experience wonderful. Food was great.

The burger is good, but the wings are sub par and very skinny. I also find not seasoned enough. I got canjun and fried with sauce on side and both tasted almost similar. So not worth the price.

For an independent Sports Bar these guys knock it out of the park ! Amazing huge 118s HD screens plus many more . More than reasonable beers prices and quality food. We tried the new Cowboy burger which was outstanding . Side Ceasar and sweet potatoes fries were fresh and good . A lively friendly conservation at the Bar , very welcoming , part of the entertainment without being invasive. Good evening.... hope to be back in the area and would definately go again.

John Max is a staple for me and my family. It's always a great time with amazing food and a great atmosphere. The service is outstanding as well. Not going to sugar coat this, the hot sauce was changed recently for the wings and it is not nearly as good as the old one. Also got rid of one of the best menu items, the jalapeno poppers. Otherwise amazing.
