My first time here and the atmosphere was elegant and intimate. The restaurant was not busy so we sat at the window. We ordered wine and appetizers and a main course. It was a shrimp appetizer which was really good but the food I found was very Bland. It wasn't really anything that I would go back for. The salmon was a very small portion for an entree. The wine was very good and so was our server. Over all it was a good experince but the entré was disappointing

The portions were too small. You are an Italian restaurant but yet you charge $6 extra for a pasta side The pasta side was a very small portion. Veal scallopini was salty. Everything too expensive. Only 3 tables of customers on a Friday night. I actually left hungry and went home to eat something else. Server rushed our bills too. Will not be back again.

Celebrated my birthday with girlfriends on a Friday night. Only one other couple present so we felt like we were their only customers. That I loved ❤️. Felt a little rushed because the waitress was asking about dessert and I wasn’t done my dinner. But she was very nice and attentive ❤️They had bread or baguette and bread but was not homemade and wanted to charge $3 dollars for another small basket of bread. No oil or garlic and bread was not warm. The meals were excellent but portions very small again (pasta is cheap). A friend of mine said she went home and ate again. I felt embarrassed because I picked this place. The meals we had were not cheap. Drinks were all good. Oh ya the other thing they charge $6 if you don’t want their home salad for caesar. WOW we were all shocked ?. The chocolate lava cake was amazing . Hope they make some changes and then I will be back. Otherwise, Spagos is down the street and am never disappointed there ever.

Our group enjoyed this wonderful taste of Italy! The ambience was lovely, the service was great and the food excellent.We started with calamari that wasn’t absolutely buried in batter, it was perfect as was the shrimp bomba. The arancini was delicious and I could have eaten that all night! My entree was veal with penne and a bolognese sauce.You won’t be disappointed with La Contessa Ristorante!
Excellent experience at La Contessa! Visited as a family with our kids. The staff were over the top welcoming and helpful. The food was amazing. We all loved what we ordered. Will definitely be back!

The interior looks a bit dated. The menu is a bit limited, however, the food and wine were good. We ordered some calamari which wasn’t great, a bit soggy, but the chicken Parmesan was amazing ! Service was good, friendly and welcoming staff.If they update their interior decor and added a few more options to their menu, this restaurant would be a great spot !
