As always, my dining experience at Nico’s on Erie Street (Via Italia) last night was a real pleasure! This time I was with the Ontario Wine Society for a ‘sold out’ event. The delicious food prepared in Nico’s kitchen paired so well with the 7 wines we sampled. The portions were generous and left us all filled and completely satisfied. The servers at Nico’s were wonderful too, and they managed to keep the wine flowing and water glasses filled while they cleared plates to serve each successive course. The decor is high end stylish and the seats are so comfortable. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!Parking: If the parking lot to the rear of the restaurant is full, it should be no problem to find a spot close by on Howard Avenue or on Erie Street.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is easy to navigate with a wheelchair.

Laughter is the best Medicine
It was an amazing environment, all the staff was awesome, lots of smiles. The food was great. We tried different things from each menu option and enjoyed them all. Our favorite was the pasta dish and pistachio creme brulee. We will definitely go back again for another great evening. Lots of Gluten free options for those who have celiac disease as well. Even pasta and pizza.The only thought I would add for myself is I really wanted the steak, but what stopped me from getting it is the potatoes. Personally I don't eat blood products like marrow, blood sausage ect and I know many other people as well who do not, so if there was a way we could change that to mash without the marrow that would be awesome or another side even. Aside from that, we loved the whole evening, the food and the staff were all super friendly.Thanks for a nice evening ?Dietary restrictions: Lots of Gluten-free options.

Came here 2 weeks ago with a colleague. Ordered the calamari for appetizers. Had the Papparadelle Al Ragu Bianco and the funghi pizza. Both were excellent. The service was great and Keanna was excellent. Highly recommend!! Don’t forget to follow me!!
Been to Nico’s a few times. Food is good, atmosphere is great.Service is decent and some of the waitresses lack knowledge of knowing the menu.Cake cutting fee should be standardised instead of $5 a person.

Had a late dinner here.The food was delicious and the service was great. I didn’t like to have to “pay” for parking in their lot though. The food was not cheap so parking could have been included.

This experience was incredible from the moment we entered the building up until our departure. The service was impeccable and all the food was outstanding! The interior is much larger than it seems from the outside, and there’s numerous areas for people to sit with groups of any size. We outrageously over ordered because it felt too unfortunate not to. I woke up the next day to some of the best leftovers I can remember.

So disappointed. My first time at Nico's and I left hungry. Two and a half hours for two people is ridiculous. Felt ignored by our waitress as she chatted up with friends who arrived after us, but somehow got their entrees, desserts, drinks, and cheque before we could even ask for dessert. Neither of us enjoyed or ate our desserts, but only one was taken off. And sitting at the bar in front of the espresso machine kinda lost it's appeal pretty quickly. My main entree was pretty good except for the watery chimichurri. And our water was only refilled once and that's because we asked. I was so looking forward to tonight. What a let down, especially for the price!!
