The staff is like family much love to them. The only place in Windsor that feels authentically Mexican. Food is beyond delicious, pricey if u got some money to spend absolutely worth it

Favorite Mexican food in town!!!! Fresh ingredients, cheerful servers and great experience!! Make sure you try their burrito it was awesome and shrimp cocktail, calamari also delicious!!

Terrible service, terrible food. They pride themselves on serving authentic Mexican food but I've never experienced Spanish rice with mixed vegetables in it and watery beans. The margaritas tasted like juice and mixer without a drop of alcohol in them and it took over thirty minutes for the waitress to even notice we sat down. Then another thirty to take our drink orders and over an hour to ask for our meal orders. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I visited this place on August 28, 2021, primarily because of my birthday and I wanted to enjoy a real Mexican Margarita, which is impossible to find anywhere in Windsor; meaning freshly-squeezed lime (not lime-flavored premix) and a good tequila. I called ahead to ensure they could serve such Margaritas - However, to my surprise, it was a terrible experience - I tried to improve it by paying additional for the supposedly better tequila and still they could not get it ! - ended paying $30 for one not so good Margarita. Their food was decent but too expensive for what you get. Chips and salsa have to be ordered separately as well as every little thing else. Their customer service was not good either, which at the end they blamed on being under-staffed. I would likely never go back to this place. I am so sorry that Mexican town across the border in Detroit is not accessible to Canadians due to Covid

The food and service was excellent, above and beyond! Get the “cantarillo” (spelling?) drink and the “queso con fonduso” (spelling?) appetizer! Soy muy bien lol

Cozy environment, fresh and filling food. Super social/ friendly staff and this restaurant will accommodate you if you have celiac. Plenty of choices to choose from. Have been going there for years
Our son went there the other day and recommended them to us . Wow the food was right on . Never going back to Mexican town . To heck with the states . This place is way better. The staff were very attentative ,had a smile on there face all the time . Portions were so large I brought lots home and had another meal. Tasted just as good the next day . This is now the only Mexican place we will be going to from now on. Give it a try , I guarantee you will love it.

The first time I ate here it was a solid 5 stars. The second time my order was not right and the food a little less awesome. Tonight I tried again hoping for the same great quality that I had the first time. I am very sad to say that my dinner was petty awful. I won't be going back again because the disappointment is hard to get over.

This is the place where you can eat or buy, the best, and most authentic real Mexican tasty and flavored food in this area. We were at other Mexican restaurants in Canada and USA, but this one is the most closer to the ones in the country of Mexico, where we traveled multiple times. Dinner was absolutely fabulous last night! Delicious, fresh and everyone’s meal (4 of us) was spectacular! The best guacamole in Riverside! One little hitch…..no liquor just yet! Otherwise, amazing and we’ll be back

We eat at Palenque almost every single week!! The deserts are amazing, especially the deep fried ice cream! My favorite dish is the Gringas, it’s marinated pork with cheese and pineapples! Yum!! Will eat here again, very soon!
