Ok so i been going to this place for years when i lived downtown. So its been years i moved more east so i dont come out this way much but i had my 4 year old son with me and i though why not let him experience this amazing food..... well it wasn't anymore... i got a mixed plate lol they gave me one pita bread 35$ order and ONE pita i asked for another they gave it to me... when i was leaving i was rudely asked how i was paying and i said i already overpaid for this... he said 18 cents for the pita i just asked for ahahahah never again!!! Shame... also u used to get so much pita bread you couldn't finish it before.

You won't find better Traditional shawarma anywhere in the city. This place is a staple for my friends and I on a Saturday night!
The best chicken shawarma in downtown Windsor. Quick, hot, and fresh. The interior is clean and suitable for dining in, which is not true of some of this establishment's competitors. I've been treated well whenever I've patronized Shawarma Palace.

I used to love this place every time I visited Windsor. Their quality has severely went down. First of all, the people working their cannot even make a shawarma. This is the first shawarma I had without Tzatziki or hot sauce. It was so bland!! And they did not even stuff the pita they put everything on top of the pita so it was a big mess to eat. I was so mad! Also got a beef shawarma plate, hot sauce was not even hot. Meat was salty. I am now wondering if this place is under new management. I will be looking for a new place my next visit. They do not deserve to have a 4 star rating anymore. So disappointed after this visit. I will not be returning.

I use to love this place, everytime I went to windsor I made it a point to visit this restaurant, unfortunately my recent experience was not that great, meat was not as tender and the hot sauce did not taste as great.

Eating Shawarma at this place alone makes the trip from Detroit to Windsor worth it! Chicken shawarma was so good I wanted to eat another, but was too full. Beef Shawarma was very good but just a little bit salty. Falafel balls were among the best. Tahini sauce was perfect to dip and this experience couldn't have been any better. Ordering was a little funky but it figures itself out once the guys get going. (It was dead and then suddenly 6 people were in line). Tables and chairs basically. A plain interior normally found in Halal restaurants. Fine with me, I'm here to eat! Come to the palace and see the king of shawarma in Windsor.

So good. Came here 3 times in a 2 day stay, food is great, staff was incredibly nice and the late hours make it the perfect late night spot.
