The staff has absolutely no etiquette, highly disrespectful and rude. The quality of food is really bad. Horrible customer service. The food was really bad in terms of taste, smell and undercooked. After telling them to cook mild they made it super spice look like it was already made . I would really suggest anyone to go elsewhere to atleast have good food. Not recommended this place

Visited their new location and am so happy I did! The service was great, they were attentive, quick and helpful. The food was very flavourful and was not overly oily like some other Indian places we've tried. I highly recommend giving this place a try!!Vegetarian options: There are lots of vegetarian options!

A friend and I tried Swaad for the first time and were delighted to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine. Flavours were outstanding. Our server was helpful, knowledgeable and patient. Will definitely return to try more dishes.Parking: Lots of space behind and nearby.

Been wanting to try this place when they were located on Howard, but I finally got the chance to give it a try at their new location on Tecumseh Rd, and it was delicious!I ordered the Butter Chicken, Masala Naan, and a Butter Naan as well and they were all very good. Can’t wait to try some other dishes again!

Stopped in on a whim with family for a late dinner. We are so glad we did! The dining room was very comfortable and decorated nicely. We sat at a table with big, leather chairs with arm rests...very different but comfortable and I wish all restaurants had them. The service was attentive and helpful. The food was on point, some of the best Indian food I've had. Prices are very fair and leftovers the next day were delicious. Would definitely recommend and will return.

First time having this cousine and found my experience excellent. Food was delicious and spice level was adjusted to my palate. I am also gluten free and found the menu accommodating according to my needs. Highly recommend.

Good food, super flavorful and filling. Quantity was okay. Prices are pretty similar to all places around. The sitting atmosphere is really good.

The food was OK, but not the best in terms of taste. The missi roti was tasteless and seemed to be made from a flour different from what is normally used to make this type of roti. The girl who served food clearly seemed overworked. She was attending to calls, dispatching delivery orders and serving the customers at the same time. Probably due to her busy schedule, she was completely cold towards customers and seemed not at all eager to ask if the customers needed/wanted to order anything else after they ordered once. In fact, I felt she was avoiding the diners as much as possible. We asked for more water but it seems she ignored the request. The owner was initially present, but he was attending only one table where his known Punjabi friends came for drinks. After that, he went inside the kitchen for helping the chef I think. We were not even greeted once we entered the restaurant, although the owner was standing at the front desk and saw us coming in.Overall, I can conclude that food is OK, but the restaurant almost completely lacks customer service skills. I sometimes wonder why some restaurants don't understand that service skills are at least as important as the food they serve. If I had to rate only on food, I would have given 4 stars. But people go to restaurants not only for food, but spending some quality time.

Bad Customer serviceWe were a family group(1) At 9.13 pm they refused to take our order of 1 Naan while they were still preparing full order of another group. I mean they could have adjust just 1 Naan with that order(2) at 9.45 pm they asked us to leave while 2 members of our group were still eating and they could not tell this to other group as they had just started. I mean they could have at least wait till all of us were finished eatingThis is just basic manners

Quality of the food is definitely not worth the price... Expensive, stingy with meat. Food is 1 out of 5 at best

Swaad seems to lack consistency… on a good day the food is excellent, but recently I’ve been having poorer experiences. I usually order dal makhani and this time it tasted burnt. Also the jeera rice used to be great, now it tastes very Bulk Barn-y.

Ordered bunch of food. Me and my friend felt no satisfaction complying with food and especially customer service. No doubt food was served on time but the manner and friendliness wasn’t presented by girl…. I’m sorry I don’t want to sound typical here but certainly they can increase their ratings with respect to overcoming the mentioned cons.

Poor management. We were given the centre table. We didn’t like it and immediately requested to change it. As the other corner table was getting empty, the girl said you can take that once I clean it. While the girl was cleaning, the other girl reserved the table for someone else. There were a few other table vacant but the girl told “YOU HAVE TO SIT AT CENTRE”. We left the restaurant.
