i know people who swear by this place so we wanted to give it a shot. it was "alright" at best. My wife and I both found the steak just alright...To salty and many un-edible pieces.Was not that good and you would expect much better for a $60+ piece.We both had to cut of so many of the hard un-edible pieces that you cannot chew. I cannot ever recall that at the Keg for example. I was very disappointed in the actual steak. You take a bite and then you have to fish half of the piece out of your mouth because it is unchewable. And also very salty (and I like salt..), we both thought so. Super letdown it was. Also barely any vegies or extra's on your plate. the one little deep fried potato was amazing! but that was it..one small piece and the fact that was the highlight of a steak dinner is saying a lot. It was a nice cozy atmosphere and the service was good. Personally we won't go back there, as the quality does not come close at all to the price you pay, which is a huge bummer as we were so hoping to find a new "go to" place

Undoubtedly one of Windsor’s finest restaurants. Without exception, every visit has been excellent and my tastebuds are always grateful for the exquisite meal.
A very nice restaurant, good atmosphere, excellent staff, fabulous food and drinks. A great place to come for date night, entertaining out of towners, or if you're just craving a delicious dinner. There is very accessible inexpensive parking just a half a block west and on the same side as the restaurant. You can either Pay and Display, or use the Passport parking app.

We booked Take Five for my birthday, and sadly the service did not deliver this night.I wish I knew our server's name, but I can only say for a fine dining restaurant, service and training should be top notch. Especially when paying good money towards a business. After receiving our drinks, our waiter took exceptionally long to check up on us. By then we were all fully ready to order apps & entree, but he comments "I'll come back for this." Forcing us to wait even longer. We got our complimentary bread almost 50 mins after seating. It didn't seem short staffed as we saw many other servers around.Two of us ordered steak for our entree, and did not receive a steak knife. Because checking up on us was delayed again, we ate our steak with the butter knife until asked. This should be basic knowledge for servers. Water was not refilled, and actually left thirsty. I've dined in here before and received great service & food hence why we were excited to dine in for this special occasion. But I wish this server did better and was more attentive.

An absolute beauty of a place.The perfect date night.It's definitely a hidden gem in Windsor.Steak was the second best steak I have had. Highly recommend booking a table and spoiling your partner. We came on valentine day, and we had a great time! Brad was our server and he was very attentive, explain the menu, and gave a good selection of wine.We started with the beef tips, and 10/10 recommend, very soft and flavourful.All the steaks were amazing, never disappointed.And the cheese cake was good too!you really can't go wrong coming here for a special occasion

Our first visit to Take Five Bistro and it was AWESOME!! My husband and I loved everything about it. We had a reservation, waited 10 minutes and were seated in the most perfect spot by the window. Though every table was occupied, we were waited on rather quickly by our AMAZING waiter who definitely knew his stuff. He gave us recommendations, made jokes, was very attentive and brought our food at perfect intervals. The bread with the garlic spread was fresh and yummy. I had a chocolate martini and Caribbean martini. We also had the caesar salad, sirloin steaks, garlic mashed potatoes, veggies, macaroni and cheese and for desert, the peppered strawberry flambé and WOW!! Everything was phenomenal. Honestly, EVERYTHING we ordered was very flavourful and cooked to our liking. Add on the ambiance and you've got your perfect date night out. We'll definitely be back ?

Unfortunately, it was not a good experience. I have been here before and it was just okay, so we thought we'd try again. This was my husband's first experience and he was not impressed. Our table was next to the bar and it was completely covered in dirty glasses and empty bottles and the servers kept adding to the mess the entire time we were there (1-1/2 hours). I honestly don't know why someone wasn't cleaning this. The table next to us sat for 1 hour completely covered with dirty dishes and left over food. The calamari was tough and rubbery and my medium rare steak came raw in the middle. Even the server admitted it was undercooked. The steak was removed to be recooked and by the time it came back, I had finished the rest of my meal. Totally disappointed and with the price point, you expect better than this. We won't be back.
Very nice ambiance at Take Five Bistro. It was very busy that night because it was the weekend following Valentine's Day, but we expected that. We were served by a waiter we have had before and he was excellent. Our meals were delicious.
