Overall, the meal wasn't too bad, but there was two mistakes on our very simple order, and nobody came back to check on us until it was near the end of the meal. I know it's a more pricier restaurant but it seemed very expensive to me. I would still recommend it but I would include what I paid in the recommendation.

Food was good but not excellent as it should have been for the prices. Filet mignon was tender, tasty and lobster was tender, tasty but the butter for dipping was not melted, barely warm which is a big miss for a lobster meal. Asparagus and broccoli was too firm and bland. Escargot was good but lacking garlic butter flavour and melted cheese with a slightly acidic taste... different. Bread was was warm and fresh. Salad was fresh. The Billy Miner pie and Baileys coffee were excellent. The server was attentive, efficient and friendly. The ambience was quite loud but we were seated by the kitchen entrance so not relaxing. Overall the experience was not what we recall from years past and not worth $192 for 2 people having a glass of wine and a beer.

We went to The Keg in Windsor for birthday celebration (80 th.). The staff / waiter were pleasant and efficient. The food was good though we will have the prime-rib a little better done next time. We were told that it was cut on the rare side. The Brussel Sprouts were al dente. The ice cream cake as a gift was impressive. We will return.

I had an amazing time! the food was delicious. The service was amazing. The only issue which actually I could ignore. Was it sounded like someone was constantly kicking the wall next to where we were sitting. Other than that, everything to do with the Keg , food, The service, the price was so very perfect.
Since relocating back to the Midwest from Seattle, we've had the opportunity to enjoy The Keg with a couple of our now adult children on a couple of occasions. Having experienced The Keg in Calgary over 35 years ago for the first time ever, here we are all these years later driving over to Windsor from Detroit to enjoy what my wife has called the best steakhouse she's ever been to!

Overall good visit. Did have to send our steaks back as they were over cooked. The price of going there has increased tremendously. Will think twice about going there in the future.

Ordered 2 - 8 ounce Sirloins and one 6 ounce Sirloin only to find that the steaks were the exact same size aside from the giant piece of fat running down the side of each 8 ounce steak. This is not what I would expect from this type of establishment, if you're going to charge top prices then your food should reflect it, not a steak you could get from Walmart at a quarter of the price. Won't be going back. Very disappointed.

Indulging in The Keg's nachos was an absolute delight! From the moment the plate arrived, laden with crispy tortilla chips, gooey melted cheese, and an array of savory toppings, I knew I was in for a treat. Each bite was a perfect. The Keg's nachos are a definite must-try for anyone craving a deliciously satisfying meal. Highly recommended!

Ordered the salmon and requested well done, salmon was a bit mushy. Mashed potatoes were okay and no alternate choice for veggies so had to take the Brussel sprouts. Price is ridiculous for quality of our food. Server was constantly interrupting the meal and conversation, and appeared to be looking for a.healthy tip. Was not impressed with food or overpriced meal. The Keg used to be the best and now mediocre in my opinion.

Ordered their keg classic supposed to come with sauteed mushrooms it didn't and then the main dish came with beets. For sure I'll ask next time. It wasn't my favorite experience. Compared to the time before.
