Family owned restaurant. Fun place to share food and eat with your hands. The injera (crepe like bread) is your utensil. The vegetarian combination plate is a great way to try 5 of the vegetarian dishes. Great flavors and you can adjust the spiciness to your liking. Medium spice was enough. The sambosa appetizer was good but didn’t come with any dipping sauce. The drink menu is very basic but Two Oceans Sauvignon Blanc paired nicely with the spicy flavors. Prices are very reasonable.Overall it’s a fun experience and a must try.Vegetarian options: Plenty of flavorful vegetarian options.Parking: Free parking on the street after 6 pm.

Absolutely wonderful Ethiopian food. It's a tiny restaurant, so call ahead on busy nights. They have vegetarian and meat platters that are sure to satisfy everyone at the table.Vegetarian options: They have an entire menu of vegetarian options, including various kinds of lentils and split peas.

We went as a group of 12 and I spent about 30$ to get a meat combo with lentil ($5). I have been to a variety of Ethiopian places before and the food portion is plenty and tastes amazing. But this place is not as good as it should be. The combo has literally four table spoon of meat which is definitely not worth the 19$. You could get a lot more elsewhere. The service was horrible as our order was asked after an hour we sat.

Favourite place in windsor. Delicious and really great for groups and sharing meals together. The pricing is great value and the atmosphere is charming and down to earth, I really like it as a date spot or for friend group gatherings.

The food was delicious! Got the meat combination plate with Injera so tried three different meats and yummy bread! Flavors are delicious- surprised to find Ethiopian fare in Canada! The server was pleasant :) Very cute atmosphere with Ethiopian elements- can definitely see the Christian influence on the nation (as it has Orthodox ties).

First time here. Service was great as the owner and his son took care of us and helped us with questions and suggestions. This is an authentic restaurant so there are no utensils. You have a form of fluffy crepe that you are to pick up you your food with.Food was very tasty. I would highly recommend for anyone that is a vegetarian. In fact I honestly enjoyed the vegetarian selections more than the meat. Favourite was the red lentils and the eggplant. If you are looking for something different and truly authentic for Ethiopian food this is the place.Vegetarian options: Plenty of selection if not the primary options.
