Unassuming yet exceptional, this local spot offers top-notch Italian cuisine. It lacks luxury ambiance but compensates with culinary excellence. A must-visit for genuine food lovers. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed a delicious authentic Italian meal. Food was freshly prepared. Pasta dishes were excellent: fish was perfectly grilled and tiramisu to die for. Gentlemen serving were gracious and kind. Just a genuinely lovely place to enjoy a relaxed dinner with family. We will be

Great food! Great service! We were taken care of by Sabino and Maria for our dinner and they were absolutely spectacular. We had a mix of mussels, veal, and seafood. Our favourite entree was the zuppa di Pesce, seafood was cooked to perfection! Will definitely come back and recommend to others!

Food has been amazing. My family and I have been big fans before the pandemic started and we're so glad that they're still around. It's a quiet and lovely restaurant that doesn't disappoint after all this time. It just goes to show how much effort is put into this family restaurant. What I find most amazing about Tigo is that it sticks to a very straightforward menu. There's no need to over complicate good food. That alone is what makes this business stand out. The food is stunning served with a lovely rustic toasted bread coated in a light olive oil. The seafood is a definite must try. Italy is surrounded on three sides by the sea. It's unfathomable that people trying Italian food should run from the seafood. I suggest the Zuppe di pesce (main) and also the mussels(starter) for seafood lovers. It's not to say the other offerings are no good. It just makes no sense to skip out on seafood when eating Italian food.Overall experience was great. Maria and Sabino were phenomenal. Please give them a visit if you are planning to be in the area.

Kid-friendliness: I think it's more an adult dining restaurant.

Strange being so openly rude to clients from all servers and staffI’ve never experienced this before in my life, as if the wait staff was doing me a favor and going out of their way by doing their jobsWe didn’t have any odd requestsOur reservation included a child, however no high chair was provided and their only one was given to another customer prior to our arrival. The talk back the wait staff gave the guests when asking for their leftovers to go was not only rude but insulting. It was a very rude and terrible experience from the get go, which is sad considering I use to frequent this restaurant often in the past, and thought it would make a good spot for a small Xmas celebration with colleagues.I can’t ever go back after being treated so poorly. It really blows my mind that old men don’t value their customers more, and also don’t treat the women guests with respect. They purposely overbooked their restaurant, which was obvious by the two fold out chairs at the one table, and then acting like we were in the way the entire night and it was our fault. The food was decent. Not as good as it use to be, fish had bones in it, chicken was plain, other guests liked their pastas.Parking: At least the parking was ampleKid-friendliness: Not kid friendly in the slightest. The server recommended we put our two year old on an adult chair since they didn’t have any high chairs available.Being in the service industry, not sure you should tell people how to treat their children, it really rubbed me the wrong way.

I used to love this place but the service was so poor this time. And the fish had bones in it. They seemed complacent as if they were so busy we didn’t matter and they didn’t need to accommodate us. Being told that our toddler should be fine on a chair without a high chair, without any apology for inadequate child-friendly service leaves a bad taste despite the amazing food. And when we brought out stroller in for him to sit in, they treated us like we were a problem and we had to practically wave our hands in the air to get any attention to our table. Such a disappointment.

A classic Italian restaurant, we are very glad tо discover it by accident. Absolutely nothing to complain about lol. And their Tiramisu is the best I've ever tried in Canada. The freshest and most delicious. Thank you for your hospitality, excellent service and attentive attitude! Sorry for not taking pictures of the meals we enjoyed, they deserved to be shown. I just want to say everything was very tasty and served in style.
