Went with 2 bros for an early dinner. It was my second time dinning in this restaurant. We ordered Portuguese chicken, steak, sea bass and calamari. The sauces were made very well, which accomodated the bread well. Calamari was large and fresh. Also the sea bass. If you can eat a fish with bones, definitely try it.

The food was very good, nice portion! We ordered picanha (rump steak) and bitoque, both medium rare. They came on point! Carolina, the server, was very pleasant and attentive. I will definitely go back! Piri piri sauce is a must try! The quality is very good, it is a cute restaurant, and I will definitely come back and suggest this restaurant to other people! Thank you guys! I wish you all the success! Congratulations! Keep the consistency and good work!Went back there to eat the picanha again and tried the calamari! It was amazing!

For our first time here, we were pleasantly impressed. At first we thought since the restaurant is located in a somewhat commercial area, that it wouldn't meet our expectations. It's nestled within the well known upscale Caledonia Design District. It's splendidly and tastefully decorated inside and a recently expanded outdoor patio that transports you to Portugal. The food was excellent, well presented and competitive prices. We're going there again tomorrow with another couple who enjoy similar venues.

Unexpected dine in place. Super friendly stuff and very nice Portoghese food. They have also a short but “researched” wine list. We had a bottle of Bocalhoa Cabernet Sauvignon and a bottle of Bocalhoa Branco, both really good! Definitely worth checking it out.

At first I thought the prices might be a bit on the higher side, but then the food came and the portions are huge! We had the cod with cream and cornbread crusted cod. Food was incredible, super authentic and I can’t wait to go back for the Francesinha

We had a great experience on Oct 3/21 at Casa Portuguesa. After travelling 2 hrs to this restaurant. There was no tables available when we arrived, but the co-business partner of this restaurant used his expertise and did some quick thinking and was able to move one couple to smaller table so that he could accommodate our group. We are grateful! We enjoyed the food and the server was great. I highly recommend this place.

Delicious food - the grilled squid was cooked perfectly. Their house red and hot sauce were excellent too. You can buy the hot sauce in a bottle (which we did). Nice local spot , we will be back!

Enjoyed dinner at Casa Portuguesa with friends tonight. The main courses, dessert and coffees were excellent. The patio is a pleasure. The wine ($35) was interesting and fruity. Recommended.
Great overall experience at Casa Portuguesa! We had the calamari, which the owner explained is bought as a whole squid and cut up, battered, & fried in-house. We also had the Francesinha (pictured below), a specialty Portuguese sandwich! Would definitely recommend both dishes.

I felt very uncomfortable with the waitress going every 2 minutes to the table to take the plates and cleaning stuff away, never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant like this place.

Everything we ordered was good especially the Passionfruit mousse, which is very light and refreshing. There is a nice patio at the back and plenty of seating inside.
