I walked in and stood there, some girl looked at me a couple times and walked away then a lady finally saw me and let me sit in the corner. I had fish and fries with the shrimp salad. First off, everything came out at the same time and was piled on one plate, the hot fries and fish were sitting on top of my cold, shrimp salad. The salad should have been out first while I was waiting for the main meal. Then, neither the fish nor the breading had any flavor and the fish fell apart when I tried to pick it up. I feel like the breading should hold the fish together, but I’m no expert. I went to the bathroom and the sink had stuff growing around the faucet base which was really unsanitary. I feel like the whole place really needs a good deep cleaning. This place has been a staple in Albany for as long as I can remember, but, sadly, I most likely won’t go here again.

this was the worst place I've ever been in party of 5 took 20 minutes to get a waitress another 15 minutes to get drinks and then 1hr 15 minutes no food we left and they didn't think to say sorry or comp anything the worst I forgot the air conditioner was on and my kids were freezing i'd give them a 0 but this review doesn't allow

Been wanting to try this place since we moved here and finally had a fish and chips craving. Tried a bit of everything but was not impressed. All was edible and tasted OK but lacked any discernable flavor or spice. The blandest chips (fries) I've ever had. Fish was more like fish sticks than filets.

The fish tanks are a real cool touch. The food was delicious! We had fish and chips, clam chowder, popcorn shrimp, and a plate of chicken fingers and fries. All super yummy! The service was ok. Definitely will be back.
