Honestly, we were there right before close, expecting the buffet to be just okay. The food and sushi still tasted very fresh! Plus, even if the food wasn't good, the service was so good you'd go back again just to see the servers! There was a grumpy couple behind us who sent everything back and stormed out, and the server lady handled it with absolute class. Will be back again.

The name for the place may have changed from golden town to Ding hao but the inside is EXACTLY the same. The food is all the same. Food was old. Dessert table was forgotten. Not a place I'd go out of my way to visit, as it's expensive for food comparable to panda Express. The staff were friendly though and didn't let plates build up on our table.

Excellent. Clean silverware. Clean bathrooms. Good food and big selection of seafood. Will come back if I am ever in town!

Our first time actually sitting in a dine in place since Covid, we weren't missing much. I would have been happier if they would have had sesame balls! They seem to have plenty of offerings. As always, we have seen better and worse buffets than this one. Most items were fresh. The coconut chicken had a mayo taste with it. It was one of the few items that was not hot or warm. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It wasn't too busy nor was it too loud. It is a bit pricey for the offerings that they have but it is the price one pays because of the snow crab legs! Overall, it was good food and the service made it a good experience.

I love coming here the food is amazing…. Seafood with oysters clams crab . Come here with my son once a week And the staff is always great always on top of everything . The only thing I don't like is how The slot machines are in the back corner And those people walking back-and-forth I can forth past my table gambling away the rent money. Other than that it's perfect . I will return until you guys close down shop

Usually this restaurant would have received a 5 start as we eat there at least once every two weeks. Great food, great atmosphere, but today when we checked out, no ticket at our table and the lady that checked us out was plugged into her smart phone. She did take her earbud out to hear me say "yes my wife is also a senior, thank you for the complement" In which she replied "yea yea, I got it, your wives an old lady" In which I said "No she isn't an old lady" (my wife standing beside me didn't bother to say anything to dignify such a rude comment) She continued to ring us up, ripped off one receipt and handed it to me, all the while looking down and scrolling her smart phone, she never looked up and then handed me my copy of the receipt and scrolling her phone. After I handed her back the restaurants' copy she said, have a nice day, and then proceeded to go back to her phone. We were the only ones up front, so she definitely wasn't rushed. This has always been a great place to eat, but manners to me and my wife are very important also.Bill Morley

Food was always fresh, they focus on quality over quantity. They also have stir fry station with raw meat and veggies to creat your own fresh plate. Calm and clean environment very family friendly.

Quality can be improved. Occasionally noticeable heat on HOT TABLES of buffet aren't keeping food hot.Once discovered, too late to remedy food safety. Yes, I'd say it's a cause for concern. Be aware & alert staff!

We had an early dinner. The buffet was ok, the cost was a little much for what was available and dried up. There were crab legs but the hand written paper sign next to them stated it would be an additional $19.99 WITH dinner. There was no real wait staff, they seated us and brought our beverages and that was all they did. Not once did they stop by to ask if we needed a refill on a beverage or did we need anything. There was only 2 different california sushi rolls, and my favorite string beans were slim pickings. What I did fill up on was tasty.Seating was easy as there were less then a handful of people in the restaurant, and it was clean too.

We went for lunch based of someone’s recommendation. I hate leaving bad reviews but this place was just awful. Dirty soda cups, all the food was cold and it was 11am when we arrived and that’s when they opened so I thought that was weird. The chicken was tough. I think they re heat stuff left over. The only thing I thought was good was the shrimp. The server kept wanting to see our receipts to see if we paid for our drinks which we thought was uncomfortable. I would not go back or recommend.

Worst buffet I've ever been to, and the most expensive. The chicken was very, very dry, the soda tasted watered down. Everything tasted old, dry and much like cheap freezer food. They also changed their prices, no more free refills on soda! They will gladly come ask you to refill, but if you're not aware (my sister) you'll be shocked when you see your bill. Every buffet I've ever been to offers free refills on drinks. 0/10 will never go back. Over $100 for 2 kids and 3 adults (over 10 is charged as adult). They automatically add a gratuity charge. Take your money elsewhere. Panda Express has much better food. This was so gross.

Went in on a Sunday where it was $20 bucks, so it's not cheap. Most of the food was not very hot for having just opened a half hour before. The food was okay, but, this was a definite one and done experience.

A fantastic place to eat. My family and I eat here often, and I enjoy getting a delicious take out at least 3 to 4 times a month. I of course, like most people love the coconut chicken. My plate usually has Chinese fried rice, shrimp, mushrooms, coconut chicken, cream covered muscles, sometime crab legs, and I for got what they call the other thing, but it's good too. It is a must place to eat in, no matter what little town you live in around Albany.

This restaurant is horrible. The food quality is low, the price is high and the service is mediocre. I went to Golden Town Buffet & Grill on a Friday night with my wife and parents. We were excited to try something new, but ended up leaving disappointed by what we experienced at this restaurant. The first problem we encountered was with the service. Our waiter did not come back to check on our drinks or refill them until over 20 minutes after we had arrived and ordered our food. When he finally did return, he only brought water--no refills! Another problem was that there were very few options for vegetarians like myself at this buffet (only two). As someone who does not eat meat or seafood, it's important for me to have a variety of options available so that I don't get bored eating all day long! Finally, the price point for this restaurant was way too high for what you got in return: crab legs that were small and didn't taste all that great anyway!

This buffet and its staff deserve a 5.0 star rating. This is the best chines buffet in Oregon! We have never been disappointed and always left this place wanting to come back again. It is our favorite place to eat delicious chines food and crab. The food is fresh and hot. They have good sushi and seafood. Recommend to anyone who loves chines food!
