5 stars because of the awesome cup you get when you order mango lemonade. The food is fantastic, and it has become our go-to spot for sushi.

Food is good, this is my second time eating here. The first time was okay, my friend received their 2 ordered plates and waited about 15 minutes for mine to come out. We had to ask for it, and waited another 5. But the food then was delicious. Today I ordered the lunch combo to go thinking it came with miso as advertised when I ordered and it did not. I called to ask about it when I got home because that's when I realized there was no soup in there. I was told by the person that answered the phone that it did not come with soup and they took it off all their ordering applications and websites they use, except for the one directly on their website, obviously. A bit of a disappointment based on order expectations, but "sorry" was what I got after a haste phone interaction. Thank you.

Food is good, service is hit or miss. Note that even though their menu online for pickup orders says something is served with miso soup, it's a lie, they don't offer it for pickup. Should probably note that somewhere because it's misleading, and I'm not sure but it could potentially apply to other items on their menu.EDIT 3/16/24 per the owners comment, I'm editing this review to a 5 star, as they deserve it. I checked their pickup online ordering and it looks like they've promptly fixed the miscommunication error about the soup. Very cool, thanks Osaka Sushi!

The sushi is good, just a little too salty. Except I ordered Sunomuno (cucumber salad) today, and it was inedible. It was not fresh, shriveled up, soft and had gross sour taste. I couldn’t believe I spent almost $7 for it.. It absolutely ruined my appetite.

Trying Osaka Sushi for the first time, I ordered the Spicy California Roll sushi burrito and was a little dissapointed with what I got. The burrito was a super-sized sushi roll, filled almost entirely with the spicy imitaion crab meat. I had a hard time eating the huge crab roll and wished there was more cucumber and avacodo in the burrito to balance the flavors, even more rice would have been nice, but it truly was just a huge tube of spicy crab. I wished I had ordered a regular sushi roll and not a burrito. The bento box my girlfriend ordered was excellent, the miso soup had great flavor and the chicken katsu was nice and crispy. I would like to give Osaka another try someday, but I feel a little sick thinking of all the crab meat. Some pickled ginger or wasabi would have been a nice addition and probably would have made the burritio more tolerable.

My new favorite sushi place in Albany. Really enjoyed a melt-in-your-mouth salmon roll with generous portions, fiery wasabi, and super fresh cuke roll. My dining companion enjoyed ramen. The mochi ice cream was served with a delightful flourish (aka whipped cream). Definitely coming back here again! Someone told me the sushi burrito was outstanding and I’m looking forward to having one for lunch!

We have been coming here for take out orders since right after they opened. If you're looking for authentic, delicious Japanese cuisine, Osaka Sushi & Ramen has all your favorites and some imaginative rolls you've never seen before. Without fail the food is fantastic, and quite reasonably priced. The takoyaki, gyoza, and chasu (pork) fried rice, and chicken yakisoba are soooooooo DELICIOUS!
