What I like most about this place is how roomy it is. During these times, many other grocery stores just seem crowded and congested, and it's nice to be able to be away from people. They seem to hire intelligent and helpful staff, and I agree with the bathroom codes. Probably keeps a lot of lowlifes from doing the sneak-and-tweak. The main problem is the same one with all Safeways, which is that their discounts are basically a monte game with all sorts of little gotchas. The result is that I just ignore any potential discounts. If you keep about five of their cards around, and rotate them, you can make it a little more difficult for them to profile your shopping--especially if you don't attach a phone number to it (why would you?).

It's my go-to Safeway.. It's always great to stop by on Friday for their $5 chicken deal. It's always nice and hot and ready to go. All employees are always helpful here. Their app is easy to use - check out their ad and add any coupons that fits you. I've received free pizza, $5 off of $5 spent, great snack deals as well as their meat selection. Also, their customer service register in the front of the store - I've always had great service. Awhile back, my grandpa used WesternUnion to send money and I had no issues. I was able to pick it up within an hour and all i needed was my ID and the code that my grandpa provided me. They have Clorox wipes in at the entrances to wipe down your carts. There's usually, maybe two registers open (when i go) but the self check out is the easiest and fastest.

Just placed my first pick up order. Missing $30 in products. Was never told products were out of stock, receipt did not show out of stock and they charged me for missing products. Now I’m being told refund could take up to several days. Completely unacceptable. This isn’t a new service and being out of stock of items is not a new development. You should have policies and contingencies in place to to deal with your accounting. As a business you should be appalled by your fraudulent behavior.

Watch out and check your receipts after. They don't apply the discounts that they advertise. My dad got some manager special baked goods and he was charged the promo price of $1.99 AND the original price of $5.00 for the same item. When he took it up with the cashier, instead of taking care of it, he was sent to customer service (where nobody was) and had to wait 30 minutes to get his money back. I was there yesterday and checked out with an item that had a big orange "50% off sticker". I saw the cashier look right at it for a few seconds, and then rang it up full price anyway. I corrected him and was issued the discount. It should be noted that when I go to the store, this usually doesn't happen. However, it seems to happen pretty frequently to my dad, and possibly other elderly customers.
