Completely phenomenal. I have no notes. Everything about Cocorico exceeds expectations. From the thoughtfully designed dining areas and gorgeous outdoor patio, to the quality of the food, this place has quickly climbed to the top of my local favorites list. Owners/staff are as friendly and warm as could be. Other Ashland restaurants have a lot to learn from Cocorico.

Amazing food, especially the carbonara

We were visiting Ashland mid week on a road trip through Oregon and from the moment we arrived the experience at cocorico was 5 stars. Grace, the front of house co-owner, is a delight to interact with and made us feel like the whole experience was there for us. We had dinner on a Wednesday night and the place was full, so highly recommend making reservations in advance.We elected to sit on the back patio it was one of the nicest patios we had seen. The lighting, art and overall feel of both the indoor and patio of this place are so warm. It feels upscale but also neighborhoodly.We ordered cocktails, bread (Meg, our server clued us into this as it wasn’t on the menu but was so good) the beet salad, sardine and blackberry frise, apple and arugula salad, the mushroom bolognese, as well as the trout special which was wrapped in grape leaves. Everything was phenomenal, they had two special fish and honestly don’t think we could have gone wrong with anything. The beet appetizer was a standout and should be a must order. Meg was so friendly and knowledgeable and made the whole experience that much better.The wine list, unique drinks, friendly and knowledgeable staff. and food make this place an easy 5 stars for us. I would recommend this to anybody in Ashland and immediately texted my sister (who is a foodie) to make a trip from Portland to go here. Can’t wait to return!

Food was pretty awesome. Had the rack of lamb and spaghetti meat balls and both were excellent. Staff and service was great as well. Only complaint was that the patio was kinda loud because of a large party of guests, but obviously not the restaurant's fault. Id try and get a seat inside the main restaurant if possible in the winter.

We almost were because we find online reservation platforms too impersonal. Sometimes you get a feel for a restaurant by speaking to them first. No matter. I was so glad we took the short walk from our hotel taking our chances as walk ins.We enjoyed the Beet Salad, Sole Amandine, Mary's Organic Chicken Mascarpone and Marionberry Pie. All were superb.Cocorico has the nicest staff and servers in an elegant, yet casual, space. We look forward to visiting again and will even make a rez online to make this happen.

My wife and decided to dine here due to its proximity to our hotel. We’re so glad we did!Absolutely wonderful experience with great food and service! We arrived and were seated very promptly at a very cozy and private table for two. Throughout the night, the staff was well attentive, pleasant and polite.For the meal, our orders came promptly. We had the Calamari steak appetizer and it was sublime. Incredibly tender and flavorful, I had to ask how they prepared it.Entree, I enjoyed the burger and fries. It was juicy and well seasoned. A great burger that I was well pleased with. The fries were thinner, which is something I enjoy.My wife had the Mushroom Bolognese and found it a perfect blend of creaminess and tomato freshness.We ended the night with their lemon cheesecake to which my wife said was exactly what she wants in a cheesecake.The berry sauce was delightful, the fresh berries were sweet, and the balance of lemon curd was perfect. Everything could be tasted in each bite and we personally enjoyed how it wasn’t too sweet.If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and dine here.

The hostess and servers are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu, my girlfriend and I tried a variety of appetizers and everything was amazing! The grilled octopus is a must! We also really enjoyed the cocktails and the dining room was beautiful. If we are ever in Ashland again, we will definitely be back.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! We were passing town before thanksgiving and found this hidden gem! Food was wayyyy beyond our expectations and our minds were blown away. Staffs were also super friendly! Love this place, I still think about their food till this day. We will be back
