Once you figure out their hours, the food is great here. We live locally and come for bakery goods after a lake day, or picnic grab and go food. The hot sandwiches are delicious too. Tempeh Reuben, yumm or a burger. Good coffee drinks too. This cafe is located inside The Ashland Hills hotel. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

I ordered the Beef Stroganoff and a side Cesar. They gave me a side Luna salad, which was fine but not what I thought I ordered. The stroganoff was lukewarm, not hot. It was okay for ground beef stroganoff - the flavor was good. It was a large portion. I prefer beef stroganoff with either meatballs or steak. The bread that came with it was described as rosemary toast. It was barely toasted and the olive oil that was used tasted rancid. Disappointing.

This is the restaurant inside Ashland Hills Hotel. They offered counter service with table delivery or carryout. The food is exceptional. I've tried nearly everything on their fairly limited menu and found nothing disappointing. There are some interesting sounds on very traditional menu items. My wife and I particularly like the very generous and delicious BLT. This is not your typical thin little sandwich. It is a substantial meal even without the killer fries it is served with!Vegetarian options: While the menu is fairly narrow, there are several vegetarian options including meals burgers.
