The chateaubriand was outstanding. We had it served as medium rare. There was no tendon and not a hint of fat. It was the best Chateaubriand I had outside of France or French speaking Geneva. The wild mushrooms on the side were perfect. The friendly waiter recommended the an extraordinary wine, it was a 2016 Sancerre "Les Baronne" from the vineyards of Henri Bourgeois.

The prix fixe Valentines meal was atrocious! Overpriced and very poor quality. Very small, obviously kept-in-warmer alleged fresh lobster that was luke warm and tasteless. Slathered with flavorless bread crumb stuffing to make portions look larger. And, no drawn butter for dipping! That is totally wrong. No respectable restaurant, even Red Lobster or Outback, serves lobster without butter! Chateaubriand was near rare and we were not given a choice of doneness. Dessert was one serving for two people to share. Should have been individual servings. Will not return.

I love this restaurant and most of what we ordered this visit was as delicious as ever. They swapped out the wonderful short ribs dish for one with beef cheeks. I didn't care for those at all. I hope they bring back short ribs. Service was excellent. I won't let one lousy entree stop me from returning!

We were so pleased with our dining experience here. They were attentive even though apologized ahead of time being short staffed. We both commented on being served efficiently and well in spite of what they had told us. The food was unique and wonderful with French wine, rich Caesar salads, tender filets and two huge deserts of chocolate mousse we should have split. Must go again!

Having white paper covering a table cloth underneath kind of took some of the ambiance away. This is a top restaurant and we are paying good money. I think we deserve a cloth table cover. It cheapens the experience having paper.

This was a disaster from start to finish. We reserved bar seating, arrived early and were told we couldn't sit at the bar for a cocktail. So were sent to a table. The lighting there was very bright, so they allowed us to move to a darker table. We ordered martinis and watched as they sat at the empty bar for 15 minutes to achieve the perfect room temperature chill. Almost undrinkable by the time they arrived. This proved to be the timing of things the entire night. Other cocktails sat at the bar until the ice had largely melted. When we stressed that we wanted to wait to order food until we enjoyed two drinks, we were ignored for 30 minutes. The manager caused a scene with an employee directly in front of us. We just wanted to leave from the time we got there, but it was a holiday and there were no available reservations to be had anywhere else. The food was fine, though the short ribs were on the dry side which is really hard to do if one has any kitchen experience. Duck wings were perfectly crispy. My strip was cooked perfectly, but I wasn't overly fond of the meat itself. Maybe I'm not an American Wagyu guy. We skipped after dinner drinks, coffee and dessert, as we had had enough of waiting. To our delight, however, we did run into an old friend (Joel) from our favorite (now closed) steakhouse in San Francisco who now serves as host. This will be our only lasting positive memory of our night here. I hope ownership reevaluates the operation.

This was first time meal here for my wife and I. We decided to splurge for New Year's so the prices didn't surprise us. But, $12.50 (market price?) per scallop for only 4 of them was a little over the top (value) for my Special. My wife's fix price meal (prime rib) was very good. But unlike many French-centric cuisine the servings were larger than usual. The service was good and would have been very good, except one of the male servers - not ours - didn't know our very good appetizer came with bread. When our server was asked, she apologized that it hadn't come out with the mushrooms. We chalked this minor mistake up to training and how busy it was.

All the food was fabulous, especially the grilled ceasar salad & wagyu short rib w/broccolini. Waitress was very kind & friendly but a bit flaky. Didn't detract from the awesomeness of every other aspect. Will definitely be back!

Out of stock of many of the dinner choices. We came especially for the chateaubriand and there were only 2 portions already served to other tables. Disappointing, especially when restaurant's namebis Chateaubriand! We had filet mignons instead and they were superb. Server wasn't as attentive as she could have been (no refill on drink even after requesting) (came to table to get desert order and then realized she'd never brought us desert menus). Ordered chocolate silk cake for desert which was very good. We celebrated 2 birthdays and noted that on reservation yet nobody mentioned anything about them. Overall, excellent food though!

This is a wonderful restaurant with delicious food. We enjoyed the hanger steak and duck breast, along with broccolini and fries, which are amazing! We were going to order prixe fixe, but the entrees offered were risotto or chicken, neither of which we were in the mood for. The service is usually attentive, but the kitchen can be a bit slow.

The food was of superb quality, we felt very well taken care of and will definitely come back. Jyotir was an excellent server who was very personable, and attentive to our needs; he took great care of us. He offered complementary beverages when he noticed that the kitchen was taking a tad longer than usual to get our main courses out. My only regret is that I was unable to try a dessert...the portions were a good size, and the ingredients of such supreme quality, we were very satiated when we left.

My husband and I made a last minute reservation for dinner and all I can say is, we cannot wait to come back. We ordered the bread basket, arugula salad, french onion soup, petite filet, short ribs, carrots, and french fries. Everything was incredible, tender, and so flavorful! DO NOT skip on the bread basket, because dare I say, it was my favorite thing of the night. Our server was knowledgeable and kind and was constantly checking in to see how we were. We are so excited to come back for our next visit!

Wonderful atmosphere! Smaller menu but flawlessly prepared and presented. Service was very responsive and attentive with a great attitude, the staff was enjoying being there as much as we were!

This restaurant has outstanding BEEF dishes, not so much on the seared duck breast dinner. Very small serving of duck, vegetables were too charred. Great selection of cheeses on the cheese board. Delicious warm bread basket and nice wine-by-the-glass choices.

Wait staff were great. Menu on point. The chef makes incredible soups but everything we had was top notch. Crispy duck wings in a wine sauce, wagyu filet, and omg the bread from Mix coupled with the house made butter trio including a beef tallow was mind blowing. The broccolini had an intense curry seasoning which was not my favorite but I'm not a huge curry seasoning fan. Don't miss their house chocolate and the crème brûlée.
