The music can be too loud and terrible. The other night I sat through about 10 minutes of machine gun fire and sirens as part of the song!! if you could call it that.

Best Mexican food in Ashland. It took a lot of searching and disappointment to finally find a great place. Highly recommended

First time visiting Taqueria Picaro in Ashland Oregon. Our group of 6 had no trouble finding a seat at about 5:30 on President's Day. This is an order at the counter and find a seat kind of place. There is a flight of stairs to climb on the way in. The restaurant is casual and had a casual vibe to it. The menu had a good selection of dishes, which included vegetarian options on several offerings. We had arrived while happy hour was still happening, and ordered a margarita and a cider. It didn't take long for the drinks to be served up, and the food followed shortly afterwards. Tamales, taquitos, rice and beans, a burrito and a taco plate were the choices today. Everyone enjoyed their food. Good flavors. Salsas and chips were enjoyed as well.

Service and atmosphere really good.I can understand the inflation but 10+ dollars for a Burrito that has a lot of rice on a tortilla is sad :(Taquitos were good.

Had a great torta along with a strawberry margarita that was so so. Didn't care for the awful rap music in the background that was too loud.

One of the best places to grab food in Ashland! They have decent prices for food and drinks. Taco Tuesday is great. They have a good location with a nice inside. It can definitely get crowded in there but that's cause a lot of people enjoy it. And it is usually easy to find a spot. They also have longer hours than most places in Ashland which is awesome because there is not too many options in the other hours. My one critique is that some things like their fish taco needs sauce to be better (in my opinion). One thing I really appreciate is how I don't have a stomach ache after my meal here! My favorite thing on the menu is the nachos with cheese sauce ! (not your average sauce)

We come here all the time. Like once a week. The complementary hot sauces are fantastic, service is friendly, food comes out fairly quickly (unless the restaurant is slammed, but let's be fair here), and flavors are great. Nice prices too. We generally order the super burrito, burrito bowl, or torta. The torta is quite good and requires a knife and fork. That's the good kind of torta. Portions here are generous and we don't leave hungry. We're not super fans of the nachos since the chips are the house-fried tortilla style. A bit on the heavy side for us. The tacos are good too but we don't order them as often. Oh and the house margarita is worth ordering.

The location has tricky parking, the restaurant was cute but a bit dated inside and the bar was like something out of a western, but not in a good way. Good service, good prep time. Fish tacos came highly recommended, however they fell short of the mark. This place was recommended to me by someone who's opinion I hold highly so I'll be nice and just say that the food was ok...fish was dry, toppings were mundane and unimaginative and the salsa tasted like canned tomatoes. Only about 35% of the meal was any good....more attention needed to be paid to the cooking component.
