“I came in for some iced tea. The staff was so friendly and chatted with me while I ordered. The menu is super unique - iced black tea infused with rose and chamomile (amazing) as well as unique food options like gluten free quiche and a tater tot waffle with veggies and feta! The tea was so good I’m dying to go back and try their food too!The atmosphere is great and they have seating, art on the walls, bright decor, and even a gift section with cute enamel pins for sale. A very cute place I’ll have to return to every time I come to Astoria.“

“My cousin got me hooked on this place. I don’t like waffles but the berries and cream waffle is hands down the best thing I’ve ever tried. If this place were open all day I would eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The waffles are crunchy and soft at the same time, with the toppings it just wraps everything together. The sauce is not overly sweet and sugary which is amazing. The price range is also really good and I feel like it fills me up and I don’t feel hungry for a good while after. My little brother and I tell our parents we go on ”a walk” just so we can go eat them ?“

“This place was highly rated so we decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed! I ordered the cauliflower bacon chowder and it was some of the best soup I have ever had. My wife ordered the street tacos which also had incredible flavor. The service here was excellent as well. I will be going here again!“

“Great campus! The new Patriot Hall is fantastic! I'm not a student, but am happy about having such an awesome educational facility in the community. It's such a wonderful place for people to start their career or jump start a new one!“

“I'm honestly really picky about my coffee and this place is great! Also seriously addicted to their biscuits and gravy but the breakfast sandwiches are delicious, too. I love and appreciate how kind the staff always is when I stop by. My favorite local coffee shop, for sure, and the only place I'm usually willing to buy coffee when I'm too tired to make it at home. :)“

“The food and coffee is all very well made and delicious. It’s a bit pricey, but not too bad. The pastries are absolutely to die for. I got the baby babka, and it was so fluffy and moist, absolutely wonderful. Service is great, employees are sweet and helpful. Only thing was that it was pretty busy and there was a line, so heads up!Dietary restrictions: There are gluten-free options, and it looks to be completely vegetarian. I went for breakfast, and there wasn’t a single item with meat in it in the entire menu!“

“I was looking for a place that was open and offered good food along with soup. I decided that Uptown Cafe was my best choice and stopped in as a single diner yesterday around 7 PM. I appreciated that they are open until 9 PM as most places around here close at 8 PM and I don't like going to eat at a location that I know is closing up soon. There were a few tables occupied and one server. I looked at their specials which included a creamy mushroom soup! After a short time he came over to seat me and was very affable.I was seated at a nice window seat and decided upon the mushroom soup and their special pot roast. The server came back over to my table and took my order. He apologized for the wait, which in this post-covid era, wasn't much of a wait at all.My soup came out right away, and it was delicious. I was able to enjoy it while waiting for my food. The main course arrived and it was a huge portion size. I ate half of it and had to take the other half home. The pot roast was cooked perfectly, melting off my fork. The entire meal was very reasonably priced and exceeded my expectations. I had not visited here before because the outside and the location gave me the impression it was an average tourist stop along the way to the coast but I could not have been more wrong about that.I will definitely be back again!“

The Coffee Addiction Cafe • $
1140 Marlin Ave, Warrenton

“Happened upon this gem randomly on a road trip while looking for a coffee shop that was not drive thru only. Seriously some of the best coffee I've ever had. The owner was so nice and patient with us- a group of 7 with 3 kids all ordering. He shared information about the roasting process for the beans he uses and we ended up getting 3 lbs to take of this amazing infused coffee beans roasted with different ingrediants you could actualt smell in the beans them selves. We all enjoyed the hazelnut coconut blend he ground for us for the rest of our vacation. His sweet dog Kye was a highlight for the kiddos too and so sweet.“
