I encourage anyone wanting to try out this bar to stay away! It's ran by the same owners as The Chart Room bar. So the staff is fluid. Meaning the bartenders bounce back and forth to tend bar at both locations. Overall unfriendly staff, with a very rude and general distain for average customers. They mostly serve only their friends! Overpriced drinks in a very cramped, damp, mold smelling musty closet of a space. The overwhelming smell of the bathrooms wafting through this bar is the icing on the cake. It's always humid and always uncomfortably hot. There are a lot of other great spots to grab a drink downtown!! And they are all 1,000X better than this place!!!

This place is great. We had one of the best burgers ever here. The bacon chicken wrap is great also. Simple menu, but it was great. Drinks and service was great. We'll be back!!

Nice place to play some pool or shuffle board (complementary).Affordable drinks. Just a bit sad that there's no list with the drinks we can choose from. There's only a chalkboard with a list of beers on tap.Tieler makes some great non-alcoholic drinks but those are apparently off menu and other bartenders have no idea what I'm asking for (they're still willing to mix something up for me though). We love the non-conservative atmosphere.

Rude bartenders. They only care about their regulars and they're mean to outsiders. The bathrooms were filthy and the food was gross. I wonder how they're even still in business!

A gross, dirty little rat hole. Damp, dark, mold smelling and icky. Kitchen is disgusting. I threw up after eating a taco there. The bartender was very selective with who she serviced as she catered only to her friends. Outsiders were clearly not welcome there. Hands down the most disappointing bar I've ever been to!

Hmmm, not exactly what I was expecting. As a frequent visitor to Astoria, I had jumped to the conclusion that this place might be too "locals only" for me to enjoy. You learn something new every day if paying attention. I had a blast. Owner/Operator Andy is a great guy and a Sneaker Head ! (check my Mystic Streetwear post fellow heads) Desdemona was throwing a party for Andy's Wife and Mom & Dad were in attendance, a bunch of twenty somethings and the whole range enjoying good times. Pool tables, shuffle board, full bar, lotsa' grins.

My favorite dive bar in Astoria. I've been coming here with friends for twenty years. It has a warm inviting feel for a dive bar. The drinks are always poured well. They have two pool tables open for free play mid week. Six or so video poker machines. A updated jukebox. Shuffleboard table. And taco Tuesday is a local favorite here. My friend Paula made them famous here. Only 2 bucks each! Daily and weekly drink specials. It's a local favorite, stop in it will be yours too.

For those looking for a clean, warm, standard local dive bar while in Astoria, this is your place. Drinks are affordable, the company is friendly, the bartender I had was totally on point and the entire experience was legit. There's three nice billiards tables, a limited kitchen, lots of TVs, but more than anything else than I experienced at any other spot in Astoria...good local friendly people

Here for Taco Tuesday. If you have low expectations, you'll be perfectly happy. The tacos are what your mother slapped together in the 80s. Music is podunk country crap. Outside of that, your typical lame Oregon bar with vid poker. Service is your overweight bossy type. Go to The Chart Room.
