My Tapatio burrito was even more than I'd hoped for. Steak was cooked perfectly AND they have my fave Jarritos stocked in a flavor that I haven't seen anywhere in Astoria.Thankful for such a quick turn-around for my work lunch.

Overall it's a decent dining experience. Not the best food in town but certainly not the worst. The pollo ala crema is delicious. The margaritas are decent. The staff always seem like they have better places to be. Hopefully they're in a happy and safe work environment.

I can’t rate the food or the service because we walked in and walked right out! It reeks of marijuana!! Huge bummer.

Was a great place to stop for dinner with a friend of mine on the way through town! Great food, service wasn’t the best but no complaints.

Beware, if you ask for another basket of chips it’s going to be $7.95I could have just bought some for $2 at a grocery store.

The people here were nice and service was good. The only issue is when eating my 3rd bite of my dinner plate I bite down very hard on an actual stone the size of a pea. We flagged down the server and she said it was from the beans. I immediately went out to my car to center myself. While my fiancé stayed to pay the bill, but kindly they did not charge us for our food and we left. Now to the dentist for a chipped aching tooth…

The best part was the view. The food was your typical cheesy type of Mexican. Not very tasty. Extremely expensive for what it is. $25 per person. Except for the kids who got cheeseburger fries in a drink for $15 each. Definitely not worth these prices.

This was my first visit to El Tapatio and I was pleasantly surprised by the location and decor, delicious food, traditionally prepared, and presented. The wait staff was exceptional and friendly. I will be back and thank Diana.

We love this place, we often get take out and enjoy it at home but the space is also very inviting. I almost always order the tacos al carbon and eat what I can't finish the next day for lunch. The portions are hearty and I love the char on the steak and that it's still juicy. The staff is professional and Juan is very kind and friendly.
