We spent the day in Astoria Oregon and were told that the best chowder around is from Northwest Wild Products. Color me intrigued! We, quite frankly, haven't found a chowder we like as much as our family recipe. Until today! This chowder has fresh clams, baby shrimp, prawns and chunks of crab. We added a few shakes of hot sauce and holy smokes, I'll be dreaming about this chowder for the rest of my life!
We got some cleaned razor clams and ate here. We got clam chowder, house salad, and split a northwest platter. The chower is amazing and full of clams. The fried razor clams was my personal favorite. They are sweet and fresh. Soo yummy. Good service. Definitely our favorite place to eat when we visit the area. We would like to request owner refrain from using MSG in the food.
