AMAZING VEGETARIAN OPTION! Foodgasm the whole time! This is the Red bean and rice burger with fries! Second time I've drove over a hour to eat this man's food! The fries have a crisp on the that almost makes them taste breaded but they aren't. Upon asking about them the cook described the way he takes them out and places them back in to finish cooking. He was so nice and I could tell he absolutely loves to cook! The love he put in this can be tasted!! I'll be driving again for hours to come eat here! Amazing food cart, we got the black bean and rice burger and the shrimp po’boy. Great fries, my boyfriend raved about the burger. The po’boy was so flavorful and plentiful with the shrimp! This gentleman knows how to cook! We also got the delicious Apple fritters with honey butter, so good! Also I am obsessed with the pickles, probably some of the best I’ve ever had :) Thanks for the food !

We went for a quick lunch today not really knowing which food truck we would be ordering from. I saw shrimp and grits on the board and was sold and my husband had the Red Beans and Rice Burger You hit some good food trucks from time to time, but occasionally you find something incredible. Surf to Soul is it. Just amazing. Can't say enough about this Chef. When I say Chef, I mean classic French trained Chef. Stop by this truck and be blown away.

This spot is one of my all time favorites in Astoria. Absolutely killer food as well as it’s worth your buck. He gets food out fast and with a smile. He creates with care and intent. Would recommend to absolutely anyone visiting town! My usual is the stacked mac (cajun seasoned mac and cheese topped with a crispy chicken breast) which is quite literally one of the best things i’ve ever tasted period. If im feeling a treat the apple hush puppies are insanely delicious and HUGE, along with the outstanding whipped butter. Please go support this fantastic business!!
