I just love this place! Top-notch ice cream, great atmosphere, and wonderful family that runs it. Jordan is such a welcoming presence and the folks behind the counter are always kind and patient. I just wish almond brittle was served all the time -- I miss it! Ps you have to order the side of ooey gooey butter cake if they allow it. OMG. Sometimes they don't sell it if they're running low, and you have to get it with soft serve.

Jordan has a gift. He and his crew make great ice cream, sandwiches, tacos, soup and more. Had THE best ever tomato bisque there the other day! Chili was also, amazing!!! Can’t wait to go there for a Saturday dinner. The staff is awesome, service is outstanding. Everyone is so friendly!

We were there on Taco Tuesday. Tacos were fresh and delicious. We followed with their homemade ice cream which is unbeatable! The service is friendly and atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. Must visit!

Got the Joe Wolf and it is just amazing.Everything about the sandwich makes sense.Amazing location and history of the store.The homemade ice cream is a treat on its own.I mean, seriously, go here, support this business and enjoy a really brilliant experience.

Best Ice Cream Ever! My husband & I walked from Champoeg park and discovered the Butteville Store, in which is the Half Pint Brothers restaurant. We were delighted in this "oasis" after our long 2 mile (one way) walk. We bought some nicely chilled bottled water and the hard ice cream made by the "Half Pint Brothers." It was Wonderful. My husband got cookies and cream and I got orange & cardamom. Both were fantastic! We ate our ice cream outside on the nice deck overlooking a large green lawn. The history of the store was intriguing to us and we enjoyed the whole experience. Nice people and great place we would highly recommend. We will go back for more - lunch next time AND ice cream! We had no idea this place was here!

We biked here while camping at Champoeg. This place is perfect. The sandwiches were delicious, and lots of ways to customize to meet picky eaters' needs. The homemade ice cream was so good, and so perfect for a hot afternoon. A really lovely backyard area to spread out on, and definitely dog friendly. The owners were so sweet, the historical pictures of the area inside the store helped us get a good sense of the area, and the bathrooms were very clean- always a plus when traveling with kids. I am definitely planning to go out of my way to visit again!
