McKee’s was recommended by some Bandon residents. Unfortunately I can’t rate the food or atmosphere because we were seated quickly and promptly ignored for 15 min while 4 servers, a hostess, and (I assume) a manager stood around and chatted while occasionally checking in with other tables. It was not busy. The hostess even made eye contact with me while I was looking around wondering who was assigned to our section and did nothing.On our way out the door, we stated we were leaving because a server never came over. “Sorry ‘bout that” came the insincere response.You should expect more from any restaurant/shop located on a world class golf destination. I guess having a captive customer base staying on property results in complacency and ambivalence. We won’t be back, but I doubt they care.

Meatloaf was my go to here. Renovations are being done at the Tufted Puffin and The Forge so McKee's is taking on more dinners. Meatloaf has changed since last year. However, Scotch Eggs are still as delicious as ever. If you find a friendlier staff anywhere else in the world, let me know. These people appreciate you and the business you bring to the area.

Great fun for your entire group. They discontinued the chicken pot pie which is a disappointment. Fireplace is great but would be great to reconfigure to allow more people to enjoy the warmth. Make a reservation because this place fills up fast.

I RARELY give 5 stars. Cheryl was incredible and the food is the BEST we have had on trip. It was cool and inviting on patio. Bar was adorable too. I had shepherds pie and ate it ALL - normally I would eat half as much. Mom had Meatloaf and it was juicy and delicious. Enough for three small Sammy’s left over today. Dad had the pizza and ate every bite. We added a Cesar salad which was perfect. Beer and Moscow Mule made it relaxing. I’m telling you - STOP here and enjoy. I even brought Alki to patio. She was a hit.
I ate at McKee's Pub twice. Both times they were nice enough to move our reservations a little earlier (for party of 9). Both times we stopped at the bar for a cocktail before. At the bar, I also ordered their chili which was very tasty. For dinner entrees I had their meatloaf and Shepards pie. I liked both dishes but may favor the Shepherd's pie since it had some veggies with it although they gave you two pieces of meatloaf.Service was great and ambiance was very nice upstairs.I would return.

Don't get the new Steelhead menu addition unless you're not hungry. It is an appetizer portion for $30. It also came out 30 minutes after my son got his pizza. He was done with his meal before I got the overpriced entree. Resort food at its finest
