I'm so glad I rode past Don Churro on my bike ride tonight. I got a mushroom and zucchini pupusa and it was terrific. FYI they told me they'll be out of town for the next two weekends but back on May 11th.Once they're back, their hours are Thu-Sat from 12-7.
Kind of an odd experience. Food item ordered was tasty but very expensive for what it was (elephant ear).Vegetarian options: I didn't ask what kind of frying oil is used, but it would seem that churros, elephant ears, tortas, and ice cream are all vegetarian. I would say there is very little pure vegan food here.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly food! Colorful, sweets, fried doughs. They are the small gazebo restaurant by the public library. They offer mostly Mexican food: churros, tortas, quesadillas, crepes, Mexican drinks, ice cream, & hot dogs.
