My 7 year old son has been interested in trying Indian food and Indian desserts because of a kids show he watches. We came here on a Saturday afternoon. Upon entry the aromas were amazing! We were excited to try the food they offered. Then came the part where we were ignored by staff, while other people (we were the only white family) were served. I thought, "surely this isn't a race thing, it's just a different culture." We wait, walk around, wait some more. Finally it's our turn to order, and their menu (which is displayed on three flat screen tvs) goes blank. One moment there was a large menu of items and prices, next moment it's black (not turned off, just black). I do my best to order some sweets and samosa. There was one samosa left, and she told me they didn't have any. I could literally see it. At that point, I looked around and got a vibe that we weren't going to gain any ground in the matter. The desserts we received seemed old. Very disappointing start to introducing my child to Indian food.

Indian food and staples. Just be aware that your version of hot might be different than theirs when buying freshly cooked food.

Hands down the best place for samosa and samosa chat! It has the perfect blend of everything! Their motichoor is also one of the best in the Beaverton area ! They recently did an expansion. I didn't personally like the layout but this area now has more seating. Overall a great place for chat and chole batura ! Totally worth a try and one place I am definitely coming back !

Samosas are the best! Consistent flavor and quality throughout....however, it appears that the size continues to reduce incrementally with the same price tag.Not a very huge collection of masalas/ pickles/lentils etc. unlike other Indian stores , but has good / fresh produce.Food: curries/rice take out seems rather pricey ( $12: serves 2). We see plenty of folks eating thalis ( meal assortment) but the one day we ordered takeout on a few curries and rice, they tasted stale and very ordinary. Definitely not worth the price.Would go back for samosas anyday!
Chai Pai
Delicious food. We been here several times for awesome samosas, samosas chat & assorted sweets. This was our first time eating thali & we are now a fan of it. You get 3 gravies of ur choice from the options they offer, naan, pickle, basmati rice (can be swapped with extra naan), dessert of your choice & raita.
