It's the end of a era. The Lins are taking their much deserved retirement after June 30th, 2022. PSA to the community that they will be permanently closed as such. The building owners decided to not renew for the existing staff to take over. But have no fear, most of the staff are moving to Stir Crazy Restaurant starting September'22. So some of the staple menu items will live on there.

Most of our food was good, but I had general tso's chicken and it was nasty and old, the chicken tasted chewy and no where near fresh. Our server acted like we were bothering her by being there when we arrived, she was aloof and seemed to try to avoid us as much as possible while we were there. It was late afternoon and there was hardly anyone else in the restaurant so it's not like they were slammed. Overall not a good experience and won't be back nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

They have the best seafood noodle soup aka jjambbong. I have been coming here since the 80's. I have tried other place that serves this northern China style noodle soup and no where close to what you find here. You do need to order off the chinese menu. The version is more authentic. The broth is favorable and rich with lots of vegetables and seafood. There are other dishes that are very good to try like sweet and sour pork.

really good Korean-style Chinese place. haven't been to others so I can't really give 5 stars yet but definitely would recommend to people, who's craving some JJajang or JJamBBong

We have been coming here for 25years. The food has always been the best there is. That is until lately. We have been really disappointed with the quality of the food. One example is the sizzling rice soup. It use to come to the table so hot you could feel the heat and when poured together the "sizzle" was loud and clear. The rice was tender with a great nutty flavor. Now: no heat, no sizzle, no nutty flavor. Also the rice is no longer tender but is hard and difficult to chew. If this does not change i am sad to say that for the first time in 25 years i will have to look for a new Chinese restaurant...

Great food probably what saved them in this review. The hostess/owner was awkward. But then again I’ve only been to 3 Asian Restaurants with outstanding service, #TaraThai, #Banya and #Thaidelish most really leave room for improvement.

The food was delicious ?. We enjoyed being down the street from this location. We usually take out with a box to hold our order upright.

The food was okay. The shrimp was the only thing that was decent. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Overall it was okay but not my favorite.

I just can't stand what they've done with money. It was my first time visiting this restaurant. I had dinner with my friend, wrote the total price, and was about to leave. Then, this server came up to me and confirmed if the price that I wrote was the final price. I noticed that I forgot to add tips, and wrote the final price. I did take a photo of receipt and everything just in case. Two days later, when I checked my card history, I've noticed that they took out more money than what I wrote. I will pay for whatever they charge me, but I will never go here again. This is just a terrible experience.

This restaurant has impeccable service, the people are some of the nicest in the world. They work really hard for their customers. Would definitely recommend!

The chicken I had was semi bland and flavorless. The noodles were alright didn’t taste exactly fresh. 3 star review this won’t be a preferred place to eat!!!!

I've been eating here for lunch and dinner the past 30 years, never had a bad experience until today. My wife and I ordered 2 lunch specials to go. One of the camshell containers was cracked and it got all over my wife's pants in the car. I put the container back in the bag while my wife went to the bathroom to see if she could get the General Tso sauce out. I brought the bag of food into the restaurant and was told I was the one that spilled the food because everything was fine when the bag was loaded. After showing the crack in the clamshell they continued to be very rude and unhelpful. I said we need to have the lunch special replaced (at least) and it was replaced. Not once did anyone apologize or say they were sorry. We will NEVER return. The food is good but if something goes wrong, you're apparently not just on you're own but they'll also treat you like its you're fault. Very, very bad service. Charm school would be a good idea for the woman working up front.

Ordered a jjambbong and sweet & sour pork. Jjambbong's broth is usually made with boiling the pork neck bones for long time, they usually sautéed the vegetables and seafood ingredients together and adding the pork broth afterwards to make the dish but Lin's seems to lack the rich taste this noodle soup is known for instead it tastes like water and oil was added to mask the added water and cover up everything else with added oil ( the best jjamppong is made by the lady cook at "Taipei Noodle Haus" ) The sweet & sour pork was disgusting! The meat was burnt to a crisp and deep fried after being covered with corn starch and the sweet & sour sauce poured over it, the presentation was okay especially with added pineapple chunks but the taste was mediocre at best and the burnt to a crisp pork or mystery meat was unbearable and could not chew let alone swallow it! I've not been here for over 20 years because of poor food quality, I can't see myself ever coming back here again to spend my money to buy their crap food!

Love the food here. Lots of great vegetarian options. The servers always remember us. One of the best Chinese restaurants I've found in the area so far.
