They are so incredibly rude here. First, there door says they are open at 10:45 . I was there at 11:00 they just shook their head at me . No explanation. Their website says 11:00 . At 11:06… still not allowed in no explanation. You’re not “allowed “ to talk to the sushi chefs here. You HAVE to place an order through the waitress. We call this the “mean people sushi”. We won’t be going back. I’m not going to fight a place to take my money. It’s ridiculous.

Lowkey, casual spot for conveyor belt sushi. Reasonable prices on quality rolls and other classic staples. Speedy service. Family friendly. We got once a week. Always get seated within seconds (literally) of arriving, no matter how busy they are.

Food was not as good as it was the first time I went, a few years ago, except for the sashimi. However, the service was excellent and they were more than happy to make whatever I requested. Not much ambience, but we were there before the dinner rush.Kid-friendliness: As we were wrapping up, a couple of families with smaller children came in. They seemed very accommodating.

There were limited sushi selections and the belt was pretty empty. The sushi was all rolls, no nigiri and no other food, and most of the rolls were just California rolls with stuff on top. It tasted fine and the price was okay for the serving size. The service staff interrupted us several times to ask if we were done, like they were trying to get us to leave. Our table was a little sticky. I will go to other conveyor sushi places in the future.

This place never lets us down! We have been here several times for date nights, in groups, and with children. Always great service and great sushi, among other things as well. Hot sake is good too! This is very affordable, quality, conveyor belt sushi.Kid-friendliness: We took our kids once and we've always seen kids of varying ages when we've come.

This place is definitely a 5 star sushi joint. It's so fresh it rivals the fresh was of bamboo it might not have all the razzle dazzle or some of the rarernkr more sustainable options of bamboo but apples to apples this place is not be level with them. The atmosphere can get a little loud and busy but it's white beautiful inside has very nice fog and finish and is a really fun hoot for the whole family or date night for an established couple. The staff is so friendly very outgoing and knowledgeable they give you the best suggestions when you're not sure what you want my favorite sushi rolls have been something staff eecommended. And don't even get me started on the prices. It's so affordable I actually cried the first time I got the receiptKid-friendliness: Lots of kids seemed happy

I love having Sushi Chiyo around the corner from my house. This is the best place to come for a quick and delicious meal. Japanese fast food at a good price!

Last night my family and I ate at Sushi Chiyo in Beaverton. It was not my first time, but my third time there. The kids and their mother have been there at least four other times without me. It's a place my kids love going to for sushi. I don't like to write bad reviews for any businesses, because I know running a business is not easy and a bad review can cripple a business. But I strongly feel I need to share my experience in the hope that the owner will take some action. If I could describe the food poisoning episode last night, I would say it was the closest to a death experience. The dishes that I ate that the rest of the family did not eat, was Masego Philadelphia roll, salmon collar, seared Unagi, and another roll that I picked up from the conveyor belt that had the green seaweed on the top. After putting the kids to bed around 9:15 pm I felt a little nauseous and went to lay down. After 10 to 15 minutes later I felt even more nauseous and started trembling. My body felt hot and I started having body sweat. I was burning up. I didn't know if I should go to the emergency room or wait it out. I didn't know what to do and I was very concerned. I've never had this feeling before and I felt like I was dying. I ended up passing out and woke up a little after midnight. Whatever it was, it passed and I had to use the toilet badly, I'll spare you the details there lol. Anyhow, I will not be going back for sushi here. I have a feeling that my kids and their mother will continue. I hope the owner will take my experience and make improvements to how food may be handled incorrectly and ensure that food quality is never compromised. I am not here to rate this restaurant but to raise awareness. I hope this is a one-off incident because things happen. I am so glad my food poisoning experience was short-lived and I'm still alive :) I hope for changes so it doesn't happen to anyone else. Stay safe and take care.

Overall an awesome experience. I have been to a few Sushi Belts around town and this is by far, the best. Great selection of roll, from the usual standard choices to one's like the Salmon Creek Roll (Which you have to try). Fast seating, and great selection rotating on the belts. The usual "clump" of items on the belt wasn't happening here. The wait staff were on it quite well, I was checked in on here more times than at other locations, but not in an annoying way. It was always pleasant and genuinely trying to check in on me. Absolutely will be coming back again.

My first sushi experience!!! Just earlier this month my lovely partner brought me here after trying the Vegas Roll at Oswego Grill (yes, you should absolutely try it ) and the first time was amazing!! The hot roll, Vegas roll, Chiyo roll were all tasty. I even felt obliged to make a to-go order for my sister. This was a late night dinner a couple weeks back, and we got in and out right before closing. Me and this same sister, who is also 22 weeks as of yesterday, came in to enjoy a late lunch yesterday afternoon. The staff was super rude and the food wasn't half as good as our first go around. Nevertheless, it wasn't bad but wasn't as fresh or tasty... this can happen when there's a change in staff the typical day shift vs closing shift. I'd definitely be willing to give them another shot and hopefully the staff will have a better attitude towards customers!

Came on a Friday at 1:30pm for their happy hour. Restaurant was only around 20% occupied. Staff was pretty attentive and asked me a couple of times what I wanted to order, and I ordered 7 items (listed below in random order):- Chiyo roll: tasted pretty good, shrimp a little stale- Yoko roll (not pictured): also pretty good- Poke tuna: not bad, lightly seasoned, tuna was decently fresh, no off tastes- Eel (unagi): not bad, pretty standard- Seared salmon: good char flavor, my favorite, I ordered 2 of these- Yellowtail: really stringy and sinewy and very hard to chew, you can tell from the photo that it looks very off, would not recommendOne thing to note is that the rice here is a little on the hard side, and it looked like medium grain rice more common in China, not the short grain rice used for sushi. Most of the fish was decent quality - with the notable exception of the yellow tail, which is too bad, because yellowtail is my favorite. I generally stick to cooked/semi-cooked fish at conveyor belt sushi places anyway because I don't trust the fish, but this place seemed decent and I might try more raw fish next time. For happy hour of $3 each, I had 7 plates of sushi for $21 (before tip) and I was stuffed. Pretty good price/quantity ratio in these days of price inflation, especially for a sushi restaurant. It ain't Nimblefish, but I wouldn't mind coming back for happy hour again.
